I've clarified the titan ban. Chimera's are banned. I'm not sure why people think the shell or the pump is the part of the titan that we have a problem with, but there you have it. I'd expect this rule to extend to apoc this year because, well, it's going to.

Again, Talio will have to confirm this, but usually war start times at Mill Creek are 10 am.

These instructions that we've used at every other Mill Creek war have worked well up until now:

Directions: From the Garden State Parkway Southbound:

* Take Exit 80 towards Route 9 and Beachwood.
* On the exit ramp, stay to the right, and you will be on Route 9.
* After getting off the ramp, you will drive back under the Parkway and bear to the right.
* Follow RT. 9 until you reach a 3 way intersection with Route 166, bear right as you go through the yield to stay on Rt. 9
* Follow Rt. 9 for a few miles, until you reach a traffic light at Ocean Gate Drive.
* Take the jug handle to make a left onto Ocean Gate Drive.
* After 100 feet, make a left onto Mill Creek Road.
* Follow Mill Creek Road to the end, where it will intersect Chelsea Ave
* Turn Left onto Chelsea, and the Park is a couple hundred feet ahead on your right.

Just as I was starting to make darts and prep the blasters, I got word that I'll be doing training exercises all weekend, so I'm not going to be able to make it. Hopefully I get to make another war before I get transfer orders. If not, well, it's been fun nerfing with you guys while I had the chance.

Alright, due to a week of freezing rain, snow, and ......well regular rain, we're a bit concerned about the current state of mill creek park. It's below sea level and basically does not drain. Often times the water will pool behind the gazebo in the center of the park, and basically cut the playable area in half.

As such, we are considering moving the war to Deal Park (Joe Palaia Park), home of the Deal war and Apoc. Google map : http://maps.google.c...786563427048437

Now, this is the day before the war, so there could be people who this creates a problem for. If that is YOU, please chime in and let us now so that we can figure out if this plan is viable. If it works for you, also let us know.

Speaking for Famine, Ash, Wave, and Jake, we have no problem with the move.

Alright, I just spoke with Talio and we're gonna change the venue to Deal.

Directions (lifted from the apoc 09 thread):

Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit #105 - Eatontown / Rt 36 East
Follow signs for Rt 36 East - Long Branch.
Make an immediate Right at the 1st Traffic Light onto Hope Rd.
Take Hope Rd. for less than 1/2 mile, merge Right onto the ramp for Rt. 18 South
Take Rt. 18 South for approximately 2 miles to Exit #12A - W Park Ave / OAKHURST
Merge on to W. Park Ave heading East, continue for approximately 2 miles
At the 4th Traffic Light turn Right onto Whalepond Rd.
Take Whalepond Rd. for 1 mile and turn Right into the 3rd entrance for the park
There should be a parking lot immediately on your right.
If you come to a traffic light you've gone too far, turn around and then make a left into the first entrance you see.

We will be staging, as Jlego suggested, in the area by the bunker. If you look at the map linked above you'll see the parking lot you should use. You will also see an area labeled "Grove"; that's where we'll be. I know this is ultra last minute, and I appologize for that. I'm going to PM everyone in the thread who has asid they are coming. If you have any questions tonight or tomorrow post here or send me a PM. I'll have my iphone on me tomorrow and I'll try to check before the war and in between some rounds.
