I recently acquired my first raider, and I wanted to mod it. My only setback was, I had never modded a primary before. I preceded extremeley cautiously, and the mod come out successful. First it was a standard air restricter removal.

Then I found some kind of heavy metallic tubing, and I thought it would be perfect for a barrel. At first the tubing wouldn't go throught the hole in the front of the gun, so I had to widen it. I secured it with pumbers goop and I closed the gun up, test fired and it worked.

92% of teens would cry if Miley Cyrus was about to jump off a building.
If you are part of the 8% who would say "Jump B****, JUMP!!!!" . . .

This should go in the Mods/Paintjobs thread.

Did you breech it or just stick a barrel in?

You should remove the goop and replace it with a stronger adhesive, such as epoxy or JB Weld. Goop is not a great adhesive for this situation. Oh, and nice website on that computer.

Thanks for the advice about the goop, as soon as I get some JB weld or epoxy I'll switch it out. As I said before, I'm a beginner

We created the paintjobs and modifications thread so that write-ups consisting of no new techniques (or the application of old techniques toward new blasters) would have a home without clogging the boards with recycled information. That is where this belongs.
