The only problem I noticed was the way in which the clip was held in place. SGnerf's technique works but I was concerned with larger clips like the raider drum.
So I realized I could fit a raider clip lock/release mechanism under the barricade. It took a little analysis.
But here is the final product.
It is held with two zipties in the front and 4 in the back. Extremely solid. Now the barricade can hold the clips in place and I can run around without worrying about the clip falling out.
And yes, it is fully operational.
