I am going to start to make darts and I want to know how good the foam is at McMaster and the barrel size the it fits for springers.

It has a good springer fit in CPVC and 17/32 brass. It has a good airgun fit in PETG. I highly recommend this foam.

I use it and the foam I get does not fit the same barrel material that it does for people who order it from other locations.
You'll just have to figure this kind of thing out on your own once you have the foam.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

I'm currently using it as my primary foam and I in my experience the following is true:

It has a slightly larger diamater than most other foams

It has a tight twist in cpvc

It's a bit tight for an airgun fit in thickwall petg.

It fits mcmaster petg (9245K25) Great for a springer.

A good airgun fit for it is mcmaster part 48855K21.

The density is all right, better than most other venues but not as good as swiftnerf or b1g13en foam.

Please not that this is all after heating.

Is it me or is the foam overpriced, because it's $3.03 for a foot of 1/2 black foam.

Mcmaster is the only provider that carries this exact foam. Buying elsewhere will result in a different fit.

20 feet of mcmaster foam is part 93295K33.

250 feet is 93295K43.
