Yeah, I'm sorry I missed talking to your mom last night before we left, but I barely got to my damn car, let alone get out and talk to parents. The little I did talk to your Mom, she seemed really excited and like you said that she trusted me. I think we had a really good day. It sucked that the Philly guys had to duck out early, but the important thing is new nerfers came together and hopefully in the future we'll be able to war together. The paintball field was a mixed bag. First off, I loved having the cover, but the airtechs had far superior fire power to the single shot guns. It was really tough to hit them. I do think if the Philly guys nerf with us some other times, they'll have huge potential. They've also got me thinking about modding my 3k. So thanks to everyone for showing up, maybe we can get together in a park where we won't be making crap up as we go along.

I do have to say, if we tweaked the rules a bit, we've found a really good capture the flag game finnaly. I know the idea of having to place the flag on a bunker was confusing and some of you thought it wasn't fair, but frankly, that was the idea. Thats why you had no choice but to be strategic and accurate with shooting. It also really took the power away from the runners, which has always been the problem. Our guns don't shoot far enough to stop a track star from just doing a full on run and not being able to stop him. But with this, as Kevin found out, if you grab and run, your going to get shot. Hopefully we can manage the rules later one. Thanks for a fun day.

From all the phily guys: It was the first time we nerfed with otherpeople besides ourselves, and we had an amazing time. I wish we had stayed longer, but the time we were there was great. We hope to go to another war some time.
Maby we could hold a war at the park near our house...

Finally my registration went through. The war was really awsome, 20 people at once, that was sweet. Anyway, let us know when the next one is and where, I'm sure all the people that were there want to come.

Yeah I'm not sure where you got it either, cause I combed the park for it. The only place I saw it was in the uninhabited parts that we weren't even near. Sorry to hear that dude, but not to sorry, I had to take a trip to the hospital afterwards, so quit your damn whining.

Dude you're probably just having some sort of weird allergic reaction, you're going to be more susceptable to these things now that you've lost your Mane of Power, aka Golden Locks of Girlishness. Anyways... the war....

-Alot of fun, I enjoyed meeting all the new Nerfers and hope to see them again soon at one of NJ's coming events.

-The LCM are really stepping it up this summer, I think now that you guys have ventured out of Tindall you're starting to really grow as Nerfers... except for Weeman, he's still kinda short... but wily.

-The field had its advantages and disadvantages, I would definitely play there again but probably wouldn't suggest making it a staple in our rotation. Props to Talio for dealing with the Shady Paintball dude even though I'm convinced he's pulling an insurance scam.

-THE LGLF NERFED!! Wow, that alone should say something.

-Uhhh, I think we should try making brown bag lunches mandatory going foward. As the number of Nerfers grow it's taking longer and longer to secure food from local eateries. But that's just more of a general observation now that I think back on past wars. Everyone seemed cool with it at Deal so I'd be up for trying it again.

- So yeah, funness. I was all about the team tactics and throwing hapless teammates out of my bunker. Dickinson was cool, get him registered on NH... but as Dickinson otherwise I won't know who the fuck he is.

-Oh yeah, props to Thirst (I think) for doing an on the fly FUBAR mod to Rambo's RF20. Douche.

It's wars like this one that keep me coming back. A couple of really stupid things happened that could have ruined the whole weekend for me, had they not been overshadowed by the solid awesomeness of this war and the friendly, cooperative attitudes of everyone who came.
