Any of those who were at Hell Before Halloween 4 remember the game Monster Mash.
The game basically is, defend your Monster and Mash up theirs!

I remember when I got these targets in the mail, I was shocked at how cool they were. The size, attention to detail the scoring points etc. I knew I had to come up with some kind of game to use these awesome targets to their full potential.

Each target comes with scoring zones. I am assuming it's D=Damage points and K= Kill points. This allowed for a really fun scoring system.
Each target is different as well for scoring.

The Zombies you have to shoot them in the head to get kill points.
The Vampire you need to shoot in the heart to get kill points.
The killer clown you need to shoot the nose to get kill points.

Currently there are 5 Targets to choose from.
Zombie Target
Zombie Wife
Vampire
Killer clown
Homicidal Maniac

Each target is printed on white, 60 pound, printed paper. The same quality paper you find at any gun range. Each target is 23 by 35 inches in dimension.

I have been in contact with the guys over at Killertargets.com and I was able to score us a discount.

When buying the targets enter the promotional code: "Nerf2010"
This code will take 10% off your order.

This promotion is only available for 2 months so take advantage of the discount while you can.

I will also be doing a write up later on how to build the target stands.
These targets were so much fun to use at Hell Before Halloween that I will be using these targets in Monster Mash at every war I host in the future.

I am actually still deciding which one to post on the wall of my workshop.
I will also be posting the rules we used for Monster Mash shortly.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

These are probably fine for nerf guns but they suck to shoot real guns at. I used one at a range a few weeks ago and I could not tell for the life of me where my shots were landing. I eventually just threw it out and got a standard target. But yeah, should be fine for nerf guns.

They aren`t "probably fine" for Nerf wars. They are PERFECT for Nerf wars.

Every shot that punched through was more than visible.
Never shot at these things with real guns but if I did fire anything else (bullets, arrows, paint balls, bb's or even potatoes) I would still use these things.

These targets made the game Monster mash, the majorities favorite game at the war.

Bought 3 of em... look great on the wall of my dorm room...

I am wondering about the stands... Looking at the video, it seems like some pieces of CPVC would work... What are the measurements of it (height x width)?

I built the stands using 3/4" cpvc, the appropriate couplers, colored duct tape and metal steaks to help them stick in the ground. I could do sort of write up if you guys wish.

I made the frame a few inches wider than the targets.
Not sure on the height though.

Thanks FA24... I should be able to whip together a setup... I work in a hardware store so I am rather familiar with connections and CPVC. Thanks for what you've done with this setup, gametype, and discount with the targets.

Yeah, As soon as I saw the targets I knew I had to make up some kind of Nerf Style game to use them to their full potential.

The targets are great... Finally got around to settin up my target range... I went with a different idea than the cpvc frames like you used at HBH4... Once my buddy and I get a chance, I'll get it set up again and get some pics or video and post it here. Thanks for the ideas and heads up about the targets!

Double Post to bump the pictures up:::

General Range is about 48 feet, suspended on clothesline from a drop ceiling. It is attached via pulleys, so it is possible to pull the target in on closer ranges, or to check your shots. This was designed by a friend and I when we got bored. I would have had more pics and possibly a video, but the CA on duty tonight made us take it down. I fully intend to try again when we get the chance. Credits go to FA24 for targets, and the idea of mounting them as workable targets. The darts fly right through the paper from the 50' ranges, and often hit the wall another 10-15 feet behind it.
