People don't nerf like nerf guns are real guns. Nerf is a glorfied game of tag, not airsoft. Making a ton of tacticool stuff won't help you in a nerf war. No matter if it looks cooler or if it is made for a certain type of playing.(like your style of just staying on the ground, which reminds me.) Nerf is running around shooting people, and it is hella fun. But if you want to be all loser-cool, then you are not going to enjoy nerf like others. That is my two cents worth.

Regarding the non-extending stock. That's actually intentional, a shorter stock means a more secure grip.

I was wondering if you could explain how you came about this reasoning, as it seems extremely counter-intuitive.

One would typically think that a person would grip their blaster most securely if the blaster's stock was at a comfortable length for that person.

Ignore the flack from some of the retards.

YOU play with YOUR Nerf gun however you want in whichever style you want.
If you aim for heads, fantastic. As long as thats cool with you and the people you Nerf with.

I still don't understand how some people are pussy enough to care about head shots with stock darts.

Headshot range is interesting but I don't really feel that it is fair.
Realistically you have a chance of getting a head shot as far as your gun can mortar a dart.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

Can you make a video of all your headshot kills? That'd be soooo cool. Do you have some kind of training from the military? What's that little thingy on the end for? Is it part of the lazer? How much does the scope help when sharpshooting? Ignore him, he's just jealous that he's not a good shot. Once again, great job. It's nice to see some innovation in the nerf community for once.

The thing on the end is a faux "Muzzle Brake" It's just there to look cool (If I weighted it, it might make a good recoil compensator, it this thing actually had recoil). next time I have a game I'll try to remember a camera.

There is no such thing as overkill... There is only OPEN FIRE, and RELOAD.

I have a weird grip style, so the shorter stock works for me, plus I need my eye as close to the scope as possible.

This really is fascinating, but it needs way more ghillie suit.

That's pushing it a bit too far... Well... If the ghillie suit was in the traditional NERF colors... Maybe. No, it's still too far.

I was thinking more of an urban camo pattern, to blend into the environment you play in. Oh, and a cheap 4x scope would go a long way. You could probably re-shape the tactical rail to hold weaver-style rings.

I can't tell if you're being serious or joking. If you're serious, then just shut the fuck up. That's not Nerf and you're acting like a fag. If you're joking, then.. still, shut the fuck up. You've got 5 posts and probably should be doing something constructive instead of being a dick.

As for the gun, ranges are confusing and a little farfetched. For future reference, lay out a tape measure or use a string or something and aim the gun flat and take 5-10 shots and post. It's much easier. The gun it self is, again, a little too tacticool, but its not bad for a first gun.

Post count is not something you can use against people, it means pretty close to nothing.

Dear Tailo, why isn't this locked yet?
I hate the huge influx of newfags...

On topic: this thread is pointless.

I've seen that word in several threads, what exactly does "tacticool"mean, and why is it a bad thing?

Tacticool is use of realistic stuff on the blaster or carried as part of the person. A laser sight for example would be a tacticool addition

I understand that. I'm using it as a comparison to the amount of time he's been here. I guess a better figure would be his join date, which is ~4 months ago with 5 posts. 1 post a month = still a noob and inactive. All I'm saying is that people that're relatively new shouldn't make a name for themselves through sarcasm, but post new mods and lurk a little. Shit like this from new kids is what makes this hobby go down the crapper.

If you can't deduce the intent of my post, maybe you're the one who should STFU. Additionally, I'm probably old enough to be your father. That being said, STFU. Oh, and STFU.

While you're at it, get my Nerf out of the crapper.

And wipe the serious off of my internet. Put on a nice skirt first, please.

*cough*validation time*cough You, since you have been here for some good time, should know that validations take a hell of time. And svt can post because of the new, validation fast track. And he is NOT noob. A lot of people around the nerfing community don't have/can't post in their nerfhaven account, that does not mean that they are a noob nerfer. You could say that svt has WAY more nerfing expiernce than me, but I have been in nerfhaven longer. Does it make a difference, no.
