Making An Aftermarket Mod Match The Stock Color

Has anyone had any luck painting a mod to match the stock nerf gun color scheme? If so what brand and colors did you use?

From what I've seen, its far easier to just repaint the entire blaster in a similar color (eliminates color matching). Oh, and if you're spraypainting, get some krylon fusion.

As I said I have not not alot of testes yet but I will be once I finish the mod.

It depends on what gun you want to do, I believe that krylon fusion cherry red is almost exactly the same color as the red strike series. If you are just trying to restore a beat up or horribly painted classic, using colors that are close to stock colors and doing a good job of it will convey that you care about it and wanted it to look stock. Ahtanie's SM1K remake with a fury fire is a great example of this, search it up to see what I mean.
