Materials Needed:
1" CPVC
1/2" CPVC
2x 1/2" CPVC couplers
1x 1" CPVC coupler
1x 1" CPVC Tee
1x 1" Male Adapter
1x 1" Female Adapter
1x 1-3/4" CPVC Reducer
1x 1-1/2" CPVC Reducer
5/8 OD Rubber Gasket
Small Bolt, Washer and Nut
Electrical Tape
4x 7/8" x 4" springs (others could work, just make sure they are nearly the same ID as the OD of 1/2" CPVC)

Cost - If you start from scratch about 20$

Tools:
PVC Glue
Pipe Cutter/Hacksaw
Drill (Optional)

Okay, first measure out the length of your springs. Then, take a piece of 1/2" CPVC about 2' longer than your springs. Glue a coupler to one end. Now, Glue your 1-1/2" Reducer to one side of your 1" coupler. Leave that for a while. Then, Glue your male adapter to one side of the 1" Tee (NOT the alone side). Then glue your 1-3/4" Reducer to the female adapter. Finally, measure out a piece of 1" CPVC that ends up a little shorter than the springs after the Tee and Coupler are attached (The whole assembly will be slightly shorter than the springs. Then, take your gasket, run your bolt through it, and but the nut in to keep it in place. Take this, wrap electrical tape around the bolt until it fits snugly into the 1/2" coupler. Then epoxy it to the coupler end of your 1/2" CPVC. Take your 1" Coupler and glue it to one end of the 1" CPVC you cut earlier. Glue the Tee (NOT the alone part) to the other end. Then, put the springs over the 1/2" CPVC, and slide it into the 1" CPVC, gasket end towards the coupler. Finally, screw the female adapter into the male adapter. now you should be able to pull the CPVC back and release it! This makes the gun work. Almost done now. Finally, cut a small piece of 1" CPVC and glue it into the alone part of the Tee. Now, take a piece of 1/2" CPVC for your barrel. Congradulations! You have a breach loading, spring-powered homemade.

I have been made aware that Frost Vectron did indeed make spring weapons. i took a look at his site, and while he was probably the first, i think i improved upon the method.

If you ever post a bitmap that huge that takes that long to load (on DSL-5min) and it turns out to be a poorly drawn 4 color MS paint diagram, I'm going to come to your house and kick your ass. You could have compressed that whole image into a gif that would take less than three seconds to load, and it wouldn't have changed the way it looks one bit. And don't give me any bulshit about no having the software. There's free software that will do that for you. Go find it.

So it's just a pull and release? Frost Vectron (I believe it was him) made and posted instructions for alot of those, including a multishot one. Someone else made a spring homemade with a trigger as well. Nice work, just letting you know that it's been done before.
