I just modded the air tech 2000, and i wanted to know how many pumps i can do without damaging the gun. I am guessing 3-4, but i don't know which one is better. Thanks.

I only get 2, sometimes three pumps max before it really starts to feel difficult to pump it. I get about two hard pumps on average and couldn't even force more than three, but I guess it all depends on connections, the efficiency of an individual pump plunger, etc. I'd never go over the recommended 3 that it says on the box if you want your gun to last you.

I'm fairly sure it depends on how well you plug the pump. Cx said to only pump a plugged pump SM750 only 3 or 4 times and got 85' feet(ish), but I pump mine about 7 or 8 times. Try what works best. Oh, I wouldn't advise going over six.

It takes mine 7 or 8 pumps too. But the last 3 pumps only put a little air in. I pump it to max if I have time, but if I'm in a close firefight, then I pump it like 4 times.

alright, but i was also wondering if you could remove the liquitron gauge completely. Is this possible?

Every AT2k I mod, I take the gauge out completely. I don't want to deal with leaks of colored goo, so I just cut both ends of the yellow tubing, and goop a piece of tight fitting vinyl (home depot and lowes have tons of this) to connect them.
