When:
Saturday, November 27, 2010 - 10:00 AM - 4 ish PM
Arrive at no later than 9:45 AM. First round starts at 10:00 AM.
Plan on meeting in the parking lot by the two playgrounds and pagoda.

What to bring:
-Your "A" game
-A good attitude
-At least one primary, preferably two if yours breaks.
-Spring powered single-shot pistol.
-Eye Protection, if you're not wearing any, you don't play.
-Warm Clothing.
-Lunch and water.
-Proper attire. I don't want to see some douche bags showing up in camouflage or I will tell you to leave.
SLUG DARTS/STOCK DARTS/MARSHMALLOWS.

What not to bring:
-Pump plugged blasters with airtanks larger than a Mega Missile. You must have a working OPRV otherwise.
-Anything else will be determined on a case-by-base basis determined by the hosts.
-Blasters that are painted black/camo will be destroyed. And that means RFDGs, and PASs. Put some bright colored tape on them or paint them a different color. Extremely bright blasters will be encouraged. We don't want any problems with the police.
-Kids who are ≤13 years old must have their parent(s) present.

Miscellaneous Information:
-Barrel tapping is allowed, but after it is executed, the player must shoot his dart on the ground. The barrel tap itself must be light.
-If you are being a douchebag I will ask you to leave.
-Please clean up after yourselves, we will be in a public park.
-Please refrain from yelling obscenities, we do not need the attention.
-Be respectful to all other civilians using this facility.

Arrive at no later than 9:45 AM. We will go over basic rules and safety. We will begin playing at 10:00. If you're not there and ready to go at 10:00, you'll miss the first round.

The car is fixed and hopefully I'll have a new one by then, but the weather may dictate otherwise.
I'm am soooooo getting called out at some point from that "King of Parkour"...thanks Snake....

Saturdays are great assuming I can get out of work. Sundays I don't usually work, but it's hard ditching church for a nerf war (Yeah, my priorities are all messed up, I know).

That's a bad idea. Losing the squishiness kind of defeats the point of using marshmallows. Trust me when I say that they work fine without any treatment.

From my experience with marshmallows, they are less likely to explode when fired and tend to fly better. Could just let them dry out in the air though...

If you're going to allow dried out-hardened marshmallows, why not allow fresh potato darts. They would be much softer than dried or hardened marshmallows, and better for the environment!

Yeah, just bring your bags of marshmallows to the war, and open them there. The air dry sounds a ton safer than freeze drying, so please don't freeze dry them.

From my experience, they work just fine when fresh. And seriously, marshmallows aren't going to fly well period. And, our blasters fire them hard enough to sting as it is, so stale marshmallows may present a safety hazard.
