The general idea of BAFF is to get a Bay Area (San Franscisco to San Jose) Nerf war *at least* once a month. Generally, it will be on the second or third Saturday of every month.

The general plan is to get something going once a month for any bay area nerfers. Of course every nerfer is welcome, from Santa Rosa to Sacramento to Monterey, or even just visiting from farther.

This is assuming that you are coming from I-880:

1. Exit 23 for Alvarado Niles Road
2. EASTBOUND on Alvarado Niles Road (I-880 NORTHBOUND = RIGHT turn, I-880 SOUTHBOUND = LEFT turn; hope it make sense)
3. RIGHT turn onto Hop Ranch Road
4. Hop Ranch Road curves left and turns into Marsh Hawk Road; parking for the park will be all along the right side of Marsh Hawk.

Yeah, checking the weather right now... doesn't look too good, at least for the time being.

Based on experience, the weather in Union City is typically above and beyond expectations (even when it's supposed to rain, the sun usually magically appears in the afternoon); however, seems like the entire Western half of the United States is precipitating, so perhaps the odds are against us this time around.

I say that we wait a few more hours and revisit the forecast at, say 8:00 pm tonight. We can make a decision then. Weather can change in a hurry here, as we all know.

Just formally letting everyone that reads the thread that this war is going to happen, bring some sort of rain jacket and make sure whatever you bring can be covered (plastic tubs?) or can get wet. Also, I would recommend a change of socks and maybe shoes in case you step in a puddle or something, running in wet feet is horrible. See you all at 11 tomorrow!
