I donno Death, I've got some pretty schmancy needs. I mean, how am I supposed to keep a watch on NerfHaven, the Diablo 2 trading forums, browse some SomethingAwful photoshops, and look up the STL Vector class functions all at once? For that matter, how in the world am I supposed to view photoshops in a text-based browser? I suppose I could download them all, but I'm so lazy.
Anyway, I'd probably use something like that if I needed the very light memory usage and insanely fast page loading, but for now I like my images and html formatting.
What Browser Do You Use?

Heheheheh, I used Lynx for a while when I first started running Slack a couple years back.Every time you type Links I read it Lynx.
I used Lynx back in '93 or so when there were two browsers - Lynx and Netscape. Netscape didn't run too well on the DEC VAX/VMS mainframe that provided my internet access. Interestingly, both Lynx and Links are text-based browsers.
Oh, and just because you mentioned it, CX, I feel inclined to mention that I LOVE VAX/VMS. Friggin' crazy ass processor and Operating System... I swear, there are more instructions in that friggin' processor's Assembler set than Restricted Words in many high-level languages. Incidentally, NJIT (where I am studying Comp. Sci.) has a VAX/VMS system called Tesla that I write a lot of code for.
Three cheers to DEC! You shall be missed...
Getting back on topic, when I'm workin' on my laptops (either Max in all his 120 MHz of glory, or Pale-Horse in his 1200 MHz of not-wanting-to-work-as-well-as-the-laptop-that's-ten-times-slower) I tend to do almost everything in console, and hence, I don't do much in the way of graphics. Even going so far as to miss out on SomethingAwful's PhotoShop Fridays (although I do use an SDL JPEG viewer so's I don't miss out on my Penny-Arcade). However, my big-boy Tryulus back home is a different story. He's my graphics monster. On Tryulus, I run Mozilla for my browsing needs. O'course, I mainly only use Tryulus for gaming, so it doesn't really make that much of a difference.

Since you seem to be a fan of useless hardware, I'll mention in passing that you can obtain a VAXStation and a VT320 terminal on eBay for about $40 in great shape.
I own a pair of Sun Sparc IPC lunchbox case machines that were the power workstations back when I started college in '90. After the advanced computing lab in the CS dept upgraded to P200s or something these machines became web servers then were eventually auctioned off by the university. I got em for $10 each.
I've passed on several VAXStations over the years because I still use VMS a fair bit at work and am not all that inclined to bring it home yet. Of course the main thing I do on VMS is
copy ms050da.txt user_disk:[gen.kdavis]download.txt;23
so that I can ftp my quarterly student download to my db server and run the update scripts.
I really miss the days when VMS was what everyone on campus used though. That utility from that CMU kid that inserts text into VMS Phone conversations was classic. We used to play this game where we'd try to get our exploits mentioned in the MOTD. I was up to 3 when they pulled the VAX cluster from service. Mmmmm... server hacking.

Opera has tabbed web browsing, mouse gestures, and one letter search codes. Like, if you wanna search google for turtues, you type "g turtle" in the address bar and it brings you to a Google search for turtles. You can have like 25 of these things, and you can set them yourself (they come preset).
You can also have keywords for websites. So, you can turn www.nerfhaven.com into "nh", and just type in "nh" whenever you want to go to www.nerfhaven.com You can have a lot of these too.
Overall, Opera has everything all the other browsers have, and a lot of other stuff.
