hey guy I last night I thought of a way to remove air restrictors without taking apart blasters
I made a video that should explain everything (sorry about the bad quality I had to use my cell phone, I'll try to get some photos later)
I apologize if this has already been thought of, let me know what you think

Dude, that's not the AR. That is the dart stem. With a drill and the cost of that copper, plus the time you took to whiddle at the copper to make it sharp, you could easily have opened up the gun and do a full AR removal! Plus, i don't like drilling into my guns unless I have to.

I'm aware that I'm removing the stem but in the process you create a hole for air to bypass the air restrictor, besides plenty of people mod nerf guns just by punching out the stem rather than removing the inner components of the air restictor, and if you want to remove the AR completely you can use a larger drill bit and drill it out but it won't make a huge difference in performance

and it's not expensive that was only about 6 inches of copper pipe in the smallest size
if you saw in the video you can sharpen it by spinning it in the drill and laying the tip against some sand paper you only need to do this for 20 seconds before it's sharp enough (you do't actully want it that sharp), then once your done you have a tool capable of removing stems in the time it takes to remove one screw.

and if you are afraid of drilling into your blaster then you can add a detent ring made of tape or puddy to prevent the tube from drilling too far into the barrel

I find this device very useful since I mod a lot of my friends' blasters. In fact the blaster in the video belongs to my neighboor, when it comes to my own blasters I prefer to take them apart so I can do other mods, but for basic AR mods on other people's blasters this is very useful.

Again it is a device capable of removing AR stems in the time it takes to remove one screw, so I'm sure some of you can find a use for it.

That statement is incorrect. There's a reason why people completely remove the ar instead of removing just the peg. I recommend doing research before you post something that has no truth behind it. Believe me, it saves you a lot of trouble. I've done it way too many times myself.

You don't need a drill to take AR's out. nerfer9 is right.

Indeed I was, however Mbisc's statement is equally correct.

and again I'm a aware of that using a drill is just one multiple options to remove an AR, just as I'm aware that using this is just an option, and I hope you can recognize that this is just an option with it's own advantages and disadvantages even if it's not your preference. you guy can be very narrow minded which is one of the reasons why I don't come here more often, I understand that this is normally because there can by a lot of dumb kids who post dumb ideas, but my idea here works and it's practical for what I do so you guys could at least say "what ever floats your boat, but I prefer X because Y" because this method isn't wrong it's just different

Well the only advantage to this method of removing pegs is not opening the blaster to do so. The advantages to opening the blaster to remove the AR and pegs greatly outweigh your method. So we are not saying your way of doing things is wrong, but just not the most effective in terms of modifying.

well like I said when you have the pegs out of the way you can simply use a large drill bit to drill out the rest of the AR, and not taking apart the blaster is not the only advantage, what about the advantage of saving time (assuming you already made the tool) that's the whole reason why I made the darn thing

Drilling through the front would not be the best approach in removing AR's. Firstly, you can get drill shit all inside your blaster, which isn't good. And you are prone to scratching up your barrel, which isn't good either. You should really remove the AR's by letting them all fall out the back of the barrel. We do the more "time consuming" method because its simple and clean... like super duper clean.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?
