Okay, so it’d been a while since I put up a write up, and I got a contract and a new camera, so I figured it was about time. And if anyone has paid attention to the mods that I do, it’s very safe to assume this mod will be to a Nite Finder. But you would be wrong, this mod is to two Nite Finders!
It’s essentially a Nite Finder Manta (NiteManta), but this one is done exceptionally clean and is extended draw. This is a contract for “freakyhamster777” who requested that I put RSCB’s on each gun. I advise against it if you’re to recreate this mod because Nite Finders are not powerful enough to make use of RSCB’s while maintaining decent ranges.
But either way you want to do it, here it is:
Materials:
2- Nite Finders
2- ½” CPVC Elbows
2- ½” CPVC T’s
2- ½” CPVC Endcaps
20 inches of ½” Copper
11” of 1” PETG
2- ACE #49 Springs
Posted Image
Here are my two victims!
Posted Image
Unbox them of course…
Posted Image
First step obviously would be to open each one up. These mods apply for each of the two guns.
Posted Image
Once you’ve opened each one up, gut them completely, take everything out. Don’t worry about breaking the lights, you won’t be able to use it after this anyways.
Posted Image
Take your plunger assembly out…
Posted Image
And scrap the plunger, we need to work with the plunger rod.
Posted Image
Put on an ACE #49 spring on. You can see the difference between the stock and the #49, so you tell me which one is the obvious choice… That’s all that will be done to the plunger rod, I did replace the catch springs, but that’s only if you encounter problems. And due to the new plunger tube we’re making, you won’t need to improve the seal at all.
Posted Image
Now take your weapon of choice and hack the… whatever the hell it is off the front of the gun.
Posted Image
Then Take your Dremel and grind the opening large enough for your 1”PETG to fit through. Make it as close as you can to the tube.
Posted Image
Now cut yourself 2 sections of 1” PETG about 5.5” long.

Take 2 CPVC 90 degree elbows and epoxy putty them into one end of each tube.
Posted Image
Then drill a small hole in each side and put one of the extra screws in for stabilization to hold the elbows on in each hole. Then Glue bits of PVC on the tubes where needed to hold the tube in place so it wont fall out of the gun.
Posted Image
Take you barrel material and wrap tape around it to fit it into your CPVC T. I originally had brass barrels but later switched to marker barrels for the taper they had in them.
Posted Image
Make a line that’s level with the ammo holders across the handle of each gun. Then cut the ends of the handle off each gun and glue the shells together at the handles and the ammo holders. I recommend either an epoxy or at least super glue. Use rubber bands to hold the ends together as it dries.
Posted Image
Use a piece of copper about 10” long with a ½” CPVC end cap. This is basically your entire internal setup.
Posted Image
Test fit both internals before we move on.
Posted Image
I glued stabilizing wings on each side of the gun to prevent the clip on the RSCB from rotating. There is many ways of doing this, this one seemed the easiest with what I had.
Now you’re done with shell, and we need to move on to the eye diddle status. NEON GREEN.
Posted Image
Posted Image
Install your internals into your painted shell…

Glue some foam weather stripping where the plunger handle hits. This decreases the noise dramatically and prolongs the guns life. This is a MUST DO.
Put her all together and you’re done!

Now, without the RSCB’s, if I were to just coupler these guns, they would each fire about 90’ each. Since it was requested that I make RSCB’s for them, they each get about 50-60 feet. It s better with stefans, but none the less, this gun is destructive indoors.
I’ve been getting a few contracts lately, so if you’re interested in having me make you something PM me.

Well you seem like the guy to contract.
Also very nice paint, I had to call the police to report my eye diddle. Keep it up.

I love the guns. I love the paint job. The handle looks kind of pointy and uncomfortable. What's it feel like?

Honestly I thought it was gona be very uncomfortable too, but you can easily hold either gun without touching the middle part, and if you want to fire both guns at once, that middle part goes right in the center of your hand right under the larger part of your thumb and it isn't uncomfortable at all. Its actually very easy to fire the lower gun with your pinky.

And I'm glad you like it hamster, let me know how it works out for you when you get it.

Awesome!!! I will probably make one but with couplers on it instead of a direct RSCB.

I dont know if I want to do it in clear NF's or be able to paint it but either way its super wicked!

Thank you! The ACE paint is very tricky, its not like other paints, you need to lay it on in very fine coats from a far distance and let each coat dry before the next. I wish I could find neon green in another brand, and that can was over $7.

Extreamly nice but why did you keep the ammo holders? I made a manta without the holders and it made it very comfortable but to me it looks like the triggers are too far away. :)

I know you said that you could fire it with your pinky but it still seems like a strech.

P.S. Love the paint idea but I've never seen that paint at ace or Home depot
