Well I am not going to go into a long story, but my AT2K tank broke off of the goo gauge. Does anyone know how to fix this? I tried using hot glue but air still found a way out.

Trash it and just connect the hoses with a tube coupling.

Trash the goo gauge? There is no hose between the goo gauge and the tank so what do you mean by connect the hoses?

You just hook the hose to the hole in the side of the tank, and use your adhesive of choice. I use 2-part epoxy for everything, but that's just me. As long as it's something that'll hold pressure well.

People take the goo gauge off their 2ks all the time. Just shove some tube in the hole where the gauge met the tank and glue it. You might have to dremmel a little but I've done it to two 2ks and they work great. I would suggest useing gorilla glue to glue the tube to the tank. Make sure you protect the pin when you glue the tube.

Damn my short attention span!

Princexbuster and buffdaddy, I cannot just glue in the hose because there is an orange piece from the goo gauge stuck inside of the hole in the tank. There is still a hole, just not big enough for tubing.

What bit do you recommend? It is such a small hole and I don't want to damage the tank.

Use a drill bits smaller than the tubing, and squeeze the tubing into the hole

Shit, I was thinking of the 3K. Yeah, like people have been saying, drill 1/4" hole, glue in.

Edit: Stock tubing is actually like exactly 1/4", where as reg. tubing is a tad larger. So use the next smallest drill bit and then widen the hole with some scissors until you get the right fit.

I used a reamer until the hole was snug on the tubing, then superglued the tubing in. I put goop around that after about half an hour and it has been fine.

I ream all my guns so I wouldn't have thought of that.

ON TOPIC
I dont know the names of bits but if you are going to use a dremel instead just look for a really small conical grinding bit. If you don't have a bit like that and dont want to go to the store use a damn pocket knife, it would work just fine and its super cool. Plus you wouldnt have a shit ton of dust in your tank.
