This is just a random thought, but you could use unpopped corn kernels to replace bb's and fishing weights when you make homemade darts.

It's a thought... However, popcorn kernels are larger and weigh less than BBs, so you'd have to put a bunch of them into a single stefan to get it to work.
Do not mess with CXWQ, for he has Admin powers and will bann your flaming little a**.

Unfortunately he's right. Popcorn kernals are far too light to use as weights... Then again I suppose you could stick in like 3 of them in a straight line in a hole you make in your stephan. That would make people stop complaining that I have steel bb's inside my darts... They would laugh at the fact that I would be using popcorn kernals until I nailed them with my sm1000... hehe.

Okay, well, the thought just came to me when I was eating popcorn.

Here's a thought, what if its really hot and your dart lands on the pavement and it gets left there...
In the big picture I'm still next to nothing, he never talks to me.

Oi... I'd still like to know if popcorn truly is cheaper per unit weight than steel or copper BB's, before I entirely discount the otherwise hoboriffic (in a suburban kind of way) idea. If so, it may force me to make my darts out of bread.

Are you going to make another detailed calculation like on Foam Modified, comparing the cost of Zero to Stefan darts?
Yet it [Zero Dart] only costs about 9 cents Canadian to make (.000183 cents more than Stefans)
