My maxshot's torsion spring is sometimes insufficient to help it catch smoothly. So I added a short section of 96565K36 to help it:
One coil of the spring is actually under the catch so that two coils are surrounding the side bit of plastic helping to wedge the spring in and also apply force in the correct direction o the catch. High temp hot glue to finish the job. Stronger adhesive not really necessary as friction alone is probably enough to keep everything in place.
