I recent bought the yellow magstrike. it seems like a decent gun but one thing i noticed right away, you can't aim down. there are no sights, but there is a rail. but theres a bigger problem the mag rises and blocks your sight. the lack of Slights and ablity to use sights hinder the user's ablity to aim. that added to the aready low accuracy of the gun makes it virtualy useless outdoors. what I want to do is hack the shell to pieces and rearange it to a more conventional and more user friendly. 1. the pistol grip needs to be rotated 90 degrees so the magwell is on the left of the gun. that makes reload/ mag removal easier and eliminates the mag rise/block sight problem. and also because the mag's bullets are not linear, it changes the way the darts fly, instead of deviating horinzontaly its vertical. so every other dart hits half an inch lower than the other. the 2. the air bladder should be placed behind the end of the gun, so now we have a stock. 3. the pump should be placed in front of the new pistol grip, attached to the receiver. this may sound hard by it shouldn't be too difficult since the magstrike is peumatic. each of the different parts are divided and only connected by flexible hosing. so the shell rearangment shouldn't affect the internals too much, the worst being hose extensions. the other tricky part is resecuring the piece but its probably doable. Anyone want to take up the challenge. i personaly will be trying this on my old red magstrike.(i bought this one from my friend for 5 bucks a while back it came broken so its just spare parts to me) I will be updating as the project progresses. any comments, sugguestiosn or advice would be greatly apreciated.

This is more work than it is actually worth.

When you are firing a magstrike watch where the first two shots go and adjust accordingly before the magazine/clip gets in the way.

But seriously, Who the hell brings a magstrike up to their face and aims? It is incredibly useless considering it is naturally inaccurate due to the short, staggered barrels in the clip, and fires fast enough that if the person is atleast within 40 feet of you 1 of the 10 shots in the clip is bound to hit them.

If you miss with a magstrike in close range you fail

If you try to shoot over 45 feet with a magstrike accurately you fail

If you run in and take out 2-3 people by randomly spraying in a group costing you one of your lives in 3:15 you are getting the hang of things.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?
