Let's have a war.

Date: July 10th
Time: 10-4
Location: Langford Park, St. Paul, MN.

Rules:
-Slug style darts and stock darts only
-Don't be a douche.
-Wear eye protection.
-I reserve the right to ban anything that is deemed to be disfavored.
-Don't bring realistic looking blasters.
-Play at your own risk. We are not responsible for your behavior.
-Use common sense.

I'll be there. I picked up nearly every dart on the field at highland, so I think we should be able to use it without causing a shit-fit amongst the cleaning crew.

For an alternate, might I suggest Riverside park? I know it's out of the way, but I thought it was a nice location.


On the topic of darts:
Spray paint the back of your darts. It makes recovery so much easier. Spray paint is cheap, and it is very quick and simple to do. I will probably mandate this at the next war I host, since it provides such a great advantage.

I have already started doing that. It helps recovery an insane amount. I don't really like Riverside park honestly. It's too small and there was way too much foot traffic around it when we were playing there. There are some Effeminate parks around here, I'll be sure to check them out in the next few days.

There is a very good location called Cherokee park In St. Paul. I can get pics if its a possibility.

What is the address of Cherokee park? I may drive over and take a look. I'm also looking into some parks just south of lake Harriet in Minneapolis.

It helps dart recovery tremendously. Rain ruins darts anyways. I am sorry that you dislike it, but I feel that the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks. Especially now that the park service is getting on our case about littering.

W00T a war on the one day in June we can make it to a war... but I have to slam my BBB back together so I can use that and maybe build a hamp... if our parents approve our attendance... but I might be able to drive my own car, so there's not a lot for them to object to... unless I work...

I'm not sure what color I'm going to use on the backs of my darts, but I do call using pink tips. That way, I can use any color on the back, but mine will be differentiated by the pink felt tips.

Just a couple of days left. I am tentatively setting the location as Langford. If a better, reliable substitute is found I'll consider changing it.
