The cash system: when you defeat an enemy, you get cash proportional to it's difficulty. Also, you can pick up the enemies used projectiles to gain a little cash. With this cash you can buy weapons (except for the Lock 'n' Load, you start with that) and all different types of ammo. weapons cost different amounts, with the crossbow being the most expensive at 50$.

Story: You go and kill the end boss.

Yes, I am just dying for the chance to be able to live out my fantasy of being a 20-something white kid playing Nerf in suburban America. Oh wait, I AM a 20-something white kid who plays Nerf in suburban America.

Well maybe just being able to don the digital skins of Vacc and CX will somehow make my mundane virtual life incrementally more enjoyable. Christ, if you're going to go through the trouble of making a Nerf game at least have the decency to stretch the limits of creativity and believability. Maybe work in some of that Parka-Ninja shit everyone's talking about.

To get back to the original topic... I'd say have at least one of the AT series. Maybe take out the LnL or NF and replace it with an AT3k.

(edit) Also, that's a great storyline. Maybe towards the end you have to hold the Hasbro engineers hostage while they design a new X-bow.(/edit)

with all that stuff on the checklist done, let see this thing. sounds like a cool game, i'm sure cxwq would at least consider hosting it, and while it probably would draw a lot of new hits to the site, maybe he could put it in "the haven" so it wouldn't eat his bandwidth.

What game making software are you using to create this? It sounds cool, but you should have given the ability to mod guns. Anyway, let us know when its done.

I'm using Gamemaker 5.2 to make this. The ability to mod guns would be cool, but i don't think i'm going to added it. Also, i decided not to make characters. It'll be done as soon as i finish the final level, hopefully sometime this week. Story mode is short, but challenging, and survival mode really makes the game worth it.
