I really want to make replace the plunger tube in a NF with 1" petg then put a petg barrel. And try to find a clear plunger rod. It would be awsome.

A clear plunger rod would snap pretty easily, clear plastics aren't the strongest in the world. I think Bob said something about that on HQ, when someone said that Nerf should sell clear Clips/Magazines. Am I right Bob?

EDIT: Also CAMO FREAKIN' AMMO!! Wow you will never find it at a stock dart war in grass.

My guess is that it would be released later in the year. If they plan on doing the N-Strike arsenal like this I doubt there going to do them all at once. Also like Talio said he got his from his contact in Hasbro's Nerf department, those might just be prototypes or like said on HQ press releases.

Try 3/8" or 1/2" square polycarbonate for a plunger rod. Sometimes it's used on +bows and whatnot, so I'm sure you can use it on a Nite finder

I just noticed that all the internals have been recolored to orange. I can see why they would do that though. Anyways, for me, I don't see any point in getting clear blasters besides for a collectible.

I remember that, it seems strange to me that they would put out all the major guns except the raider though... Any information on whether or not the new exclusive guns will have clear versions?

There is a clear raider planned, but there are some details they're still working on when it comes to the release. It's fuzzy on the specifics, but at the least we know for sure there is one on the way.

Try not to make sweeping conclusions that can be misleading. The transparent plastics used in nerf guns (ABS?) has tended to be brittle in the past, but that in no way means that all clear plastics are weak by definition.

No, they're not. I haven't seen anything on the Raider, but the Maverick, NiteFinder, Recon, and Deploy are going to be available August 1st.

I have asked Nerf on the Facebook page, and they have confirmed an August release date for the clear blasters. However, this was on a previous date, so Talio is probably right. Also, as for the lack of a Raider in this photo, these were given to Bal Vazquez, who, as far as I am of knowledge, works at Nerf/Hasbro. They mave have just run out of them after giving them to other employees.

Hopefully the clear blasters work better. If Nerf fixed them a little (my friend has a clear mav and it works way better stock than the yellow mav) then that would be awesome. I can't wait for the clear NiteFinder to come out.

Why was the (clear) raider not in the picture? I heard somewhere that something was wrong with the clear one, can anyone confirm this? That could explain it but because you received the package, you know more than I do.
