Hello everyone I'm a new time modder and I am working on my second Nigth Finder. It came to my attention that the plunger assembly is glued together in the latest Nigth Finders. Has anyone noticied this and if they have found a way around the problem could they post a write up showing how fix it.

Thankyou

As far as I know, you dip it in hot water for a few seconds to melt the glue, correct me if I'm wrong.

Before you try that, do you have brass cutters? Any pipe cutter will do, but make sure it's the type that looks like a Clamp. It must have a weel for a blade that cuts into the pipe. If you have what I'm talking about, use those on the lines where it should come apart, it's been tested, and this is a better method.

Yes he is right. In my YouTube, (the link should be in the signature), I have a video on how to mod a Nite Finder, and I used the pipe cutters. It's in Part 1 of 3 videos.

Okay you spelled Nite Finder wrong (sorry, I just had to point that out) And spraying lighter fluid on it works just as well as anything I have tried.

As previously stated, the safest and easiest method would be to use pipe cutters, unless you're too stupid to use pipe cutters. (Which wouldn't be too surprising for some of the members here)

I've heard that the search function is the easiest way to get that done. But boiling water has worked well for me, no risk of a mis-cut.

If you don't have pipe cutters or don't want to risk using boiling water, try roatating the plunger assembly over a lit candle. But be careful, it is easy to melt the plastic.

The yellow balls are also slightly smaller in diameter than the green ones.

Just some bob, those are just too good!

I just stuck my exacto blade down there and started cuttin'. A drill wouldn't hurt either.

May I also point out that "thank you" is not a compond word. And what I do is stick it in boiling water then use pipe cutters, which is the best and safest way to get it apart.

gluing on a ak47 stock killed my ranges

I nominate this for thread of the month. Seriously, I thought it would be safer to just not post in that thread when it showed up, but it has to be said. Logging on after a while to see this made my day.

I'm not sure what's more predictable, the fact that these glued Nite Finder threads keep showing up, or that everyone rushes in here to suggest all these different methods which (still) nobody agrees about for some reason.
