[Noodleownz]

The first ILFF was so much fun, and had pringles! This was mainly made for the guys who aren't going to SPANO.

When:
Saturday, June 26th, 2010 - 10:00 AM - 5-6 PM
Arrive at no later than 9:45 AM. First round starts at 10:00 AM.
Plan on meeting in the parking lot by the two playgrounds and pagoda.

Where:
Flick Park
3600 Glenview Road
Glenview, IL 60025

Backup Location:
Indian Trail Park
1519 Forest Dr
Glenview, IL 60025

What to bring:
-Your "A" game
-A good attitude
-At least one primary, preferably two if yours breaks.
-Spring powered single-shot pistol.
-Darts, a lot of them
-Eye Protection, if you're not wearing any, you don't play
-Lunch and water.
-Proper attire. I don't want to see some douche bags showing up in camouflage or I will tell you to leave.

What not to bring:
SLINGSHOT WEIGHTED DARTS AREN'T ALLOWED
-Slug darts or stock ammo only. No exceptions.
-Pump plugged blasters with airtanks larger than a Mega Missile. You must have a working OPRV otherwise.
-Anything else will be determined on a case-by-base basis determined by the hosts.
-Blasters that are painted black/camo will be destroyed. And that means RFDGs, and PASs. Put some bright colored tape on them or paint them a different color. Extremely bright blasters will be encouraged. We don't want any problems with the police.
-Kids who are ≤13 years old must have their parent(s) present.

Miscellaneous Information:
-Barrel tapping is allowed, but after it is executed, the player must shoot his dart on the ground. The barrel tap itself must be light.
-If you are being a douchebag I will ask you to leave.
-Please clean up after yourselves, we will be in a public park.
-Please refrain from yelling obscenities, we do not need the attention.
-Be respectful to all other civilians using this facility.

Round Schedule:*
Arrive at no later than 9:45 AM. We will go over basic rules and safety. We will begin playing at 10:00. If you're not there and ready to go at 10:00, you'll miss the first round.

10:00 AM - Meatgrinder

11:00 AM - Capture the Flag and/or variants

12:00 PM - Dart Sweep/Lunch

1:00 PM - Carpe testiculum (Seize the balls)

2:00 PM - Two team 3/15 Deathmatch

3:00 PM - Dart Sweep

3:15 PM - VIP

4:30 PM - Meatgrinder

5:30 PM - Dart Sweep, End of war

I'll be there. I would prefer a different location though, that park takes me an hour and a half to get there which is pretty ridiculous for a war that would have pretty low attendance.

I will be attending barring some unforeseen event. I am good with both the original and backup locations, since they are next to the highway.

It's starting to rain right now where I am and doppler has a fairly large cloud of green/yellow starting to move over the war site. It should all clear by 8 am since the densest cloud cover will be at 4:30 am unless wind suddenly picks up or dies.

Luckily, that means the war will be rain free unless new storms brew up, but don't wear you best white socks at least for the first few hours.

Anyway, it was a great war well worth the drive.

+Nerfering for the first time since May.
+Big ammo Rules!
+The Bomber
+King rounds were sweet.

+Continuing to meet new people.
+Tacticool sights actually work.

-Old longshot priming handle broke.
-New longshot still giving me troubles.
-Being dehydrated for the second half of the war, and sitting out while the Brians forced me to drink water.
-It was HOT!

I had a great time!

Pros:
+ Meeting Noodle, Louie, Cheerios, Nick, Kyle, Joey, and everyone else
+ Getting to Nerf with Zorn again! That SSPB was the shit!
+ Rolling, Sliding, and jumping; highlighted by the John Woo style double kill with Litersize
+ Louie's abs of steel and Daisy Duke T-shirt!
+ Seeing everybody's wicked guns and integrations!

Cons:
- Downtime between rounds, you'll get the hang of pace Noodle!
- Woodchips in the playground instead of the awesome rubbery stuff

Overall, fun times and memorable times! Lack of manliness when it comes to wooing the ladies!!! C'mon boys, Team Brian will hook you up fo sho!!!

@Cheerios - For the Cons section you forgot to add, "Snake dodging and blocking nearly everything I shot at him and making me pay for the misses." But seriously, it was a pleasure to nerf with ya man! Look forward to it in the future!

I actually got done with yard work early, so I came to flick. My friend and I saw you guys were in the middle of one of your rounds, it was about 3:30ish or so and we didn't want to come in and interrupt you guys and make the numbers uneven. So we went fishin instead, but we saw you guys were still around past 5 just sitting around. We'll try to make it to the next one

Yeah the location was great, hopefully I can make it on time to the next one. Its so close so i can just bike over.
