Time: Show up at 9:30 start at 10:00AM, lunch break at 12:00-1:00, and we end we are tired.

Rules:
~Anyone under the age of 18 will be wearing eye protection at all times during play. Anyone under the age of 16 will be required to have an adult present (I will allow an Adult to monitor several players) I am also an adult and will happily monitor a few during play. Anyone under the age of 13 will not be permitted to play without their parent or legal guardian present on the playing field during the entire event.
~NO HOMEMADE AIR GUNS! NO EXCEPTIONS!
~You can bring your HAMPS as long you limit hopper length to no more than 18" and we split you equally between the teams.
~Don't be a douchebag. If the strength of the weapon is considered to be excessive we reserve the right to "spot ban" it.
~No singled ,plugged Titans or plugged BBBB. Titans are allowed if they have more than 3 barrels(shotgunned)
~No tack darts (A.K.A-deathdarts)**
~No darts heavier than a nerf ball.Stefans must have a rubber, glue, cloth, or foam cover.
~All darts and guns will be inspected thoroughly, no jutting out spikes on guns---use your head guys, and remember that these are toys--lets keep it that way!
~The only shields that will be permitted are Manta Rays.
~Barrel Tapping is allowed however, your gun MUST be locked and loaded to tap--A tap from 5 feet away is nicer than being shot, wink...wink.
~Do NOT bring anything painted all black. We REALLY don't want the cops called for someones stupidity!

New game debut NERF: Super Ligera
rules:
~You may only remove components from stock blasters, nothing may be added.
~Only stock ammunition designed for that gun, or it's equivalent may be used.
~Any components which were designed by Hasbro to be interchangeable may be used. i.e clips and barrel attachments.

Rules for sword blocking:
~Sword blocking is only allowed in 3:15 and assault type matches. Zombies cannot sword bock.
~No sword blocking in pistol type matches.
~The sword must be in hand at time of block. If sword is shot while in it's sheath than it is a hit.
~Axes are not allowed to block.
~Titan missiles are not able to be blocked by anything.

Old tents would work perfect as long as you don't mind if there is damage after the war.

Only 2 weeks left til this. Anyone coming to this should also come to Twitch's Lazer Kraze War. This will be a great full Saturday of Nerfing, can't wait to see everyone there.

For Hippo in post below: You can bring your HAMPS as long you limit hopper length to no more than 18" and we split you equally between the teams.

We will only be doing a few of the "NERF: Super Ligera" style game play and I have plenty of stock guns to loan out for people to use.

What's up with the no hamps rule? I didn't think they were a problem last war; I don't think we scored many, if any, hits.

Also, what is the deal with all these bizarre new games? I mod my guns to make them shoot further, I don't have anything that's "nothing added to a stock blaster"

Edit: Didn't see your stealth edit til now. The 48" hopper was a joke, I think my brother put it down quickly. We'll put them down if there's a problem with 'em. I don't mind not using it, but if there's a problem, let us know and we'll make the necessary adjustments.

A round or two would be fine, but I know others as well as myself would prefer to avoid a large chunk of stock and strange rule battles

I agree that hamps should only be banned if they become a problem. I didn't see anything wrong with them at all at the last war, they were actually quite entertaining. I only think blasters should be banned for safety reasons - like a PLUGGED, SINGLED, SM5K that shoots significantly farther than any blaster on our field. I know you're hosting and have final call on gun bans, but shit... that thing shoots hard.

I, too, would like to avoid half of the day going to waste to play with stock blasters and melee toys. It's all cute and fun once, then it's just gay. I play modified nerf, not indoor stock gun nerf (nothing wrong with that, it's just lame outside)

I'm now a definite.



EDIT: For your tally- I'm unable to bring anything. I don't have anything that can be used as a barrier and I don't have the funds to make anything. Sorry!

I'll be riding with Coop. I hope hamps aren't limited too much as I have yet to feel as though it is unfair since its just another innovation in nerfing...

I need to get a tally of how many people are bringing mobstacles, tents, boxes, and other things for barriers. I will have 5-6 various things that we can use but we will need more. Remember that this is a field there is nothing really to hide behind.

Seeing as how this is one big field and we don't have many boxes/tarps/whatnot, would it be best to just move this elsewhere?

Whetstone might not be a good choice because of all the soccer and crap, but Colerain is always a decent place, we didn't use the field with trees at all last time, I feel there is certainly some play left there. The playground was a little small, but using the field might be more fun.

Or, the place after it rained might be a decent option, I forget the name, but it was just a few of us there, it was muddy when we went.

Just a couple of other options because we don't seem to have the equipment required for an open field

my source indicates that thunderstorms are likely to be present throughout the day. I don't think running around with steel gauntlets in a lightningstorm is a wise idea. I'll discuss it with the rest of those riding up with me tomorrow, and post in the morning (like 4am-6am) if we are planning to attend or pass on this one.

11 people total, 10 at one time since Cooperdoop raged the shit out of his PO-er...PAS.

Chill war, my 2k is rigged, and I got 99% of my darts back. I call that a success.
