FYI, Nyyanksjw: people don't usually like it if you post twice (or three times) in a row.

If you want to quote multiple people, you can click to reply to each one of them, copy the quote from each, and paste them
all into one post. Or, you could just direct each comment the person it is intended for, and forgo quotes entirely.

The good news is that my mav is now working. However, there are a few minor problems. First, the turret does not slide in smoothly after loading - I need to hold the button and push it in. Additionally, the mod didn't seem to do anything noticeable to the performance of the gun, besides making it slightly quieter. Can anyone explain in technical terms what I actually modded? Regardless, I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed in the outcome but hey, that's what I get for tampering with it in the first place. Again, thanks to those who actually got it to work again.

PS: All you guys (except Bob) fail at helping.

I just rage when people pull out being a noob as an excuse, as if it's some bulletproof vest that protects them from flames.

Anyway, if you review previous posts, you'll find that the answer had already been provided, albeit without pictures. I don't know if he just ignored them or not, but they solve the problem.

Did you consider that I brought it up so that people wouldn't overwhelm me with terms that I would be unfamiliar with?

That would be a good point - if google hadn't been invented.

Anyway, if you modded the turret by removing the prongs, it shouldn't be quieter nor should it have the same level of power. What you essentially did was remove something that was blocking the airflow that propels the dart.

Whenever I'm bored, I go onto NerfHaven and start reading the closed threads with a last post by VACC.
