Bushmaster AR15 M4 Carbine .223 (pic here and here)
Ruger 77/22 Stainless .22
Walther P99 9mm
Colt Woodsman .22
Glock 36 .45
My most recent purchase was the Bushmaster. This is by far my favorite. A wonderful rifle to shoot....incredibly accurate. I have previously owned an AK47, which I reluctantly sold not long ago. Although it hit harder it was a beast to shoot. I recently competed in a small DCM style competion with my AR at my local rifle club. Out of 15 shooters I came in 3rd for 100 and 200 yards w/ iron sights. There as no prize as it was jsut a friendly competetion but I impressed myself considering most shooters were using 20" Bbl's.
So does anybody own any guns? I know CX has a Glock. What have any of you shot that maybe were your parents or a friends? It's always interseting to hear about other peoples experiences shooting various handguns and rifles

A little? I shot a 12 in 8th grade and it dislocated my shoulder. Then again, i'm a pussy eateronly things i've fired are a .22 and a 12 guage. as a fifth grader, i could handle the .22 but i set down the 12 guage after the first shot, it made my shoulder just a little sore.

I've also shot (but don't own) the Glock 21, a Beretta 9mm - I think it was the 92F, 12 and 10 gauge shotties, a desert eagle .44 mag, and a full auto MAC-10 (9x19).
I have a thing for pistols... Never fired a rifle unless you count my .177 pellet rifle.

CX - I dunno know about you but I can`t figure out the difference between the Glock 36 and the Glock 30, besides the mag capacity and the release dates. it looks like we basically have the same handgun. The mag in the 36 is single stacked. I assume the mag in the 30 is stagger stacked to get 10 rounds in there.
I would highly recommend the AR15 for anyone looking for a all purpose rifle for plinking, target shooting or intimidation. It will do it all with grace. I`m not sure how practical an AR is for home defense. A good 45 will do the same job much easier in that case, but it would work. AR15's will cost more than AK's and other rifle but you you do get what you pay for. Plus you can look like this:

The difference is .14" in width and 6.87 oz fully loaded. As you guessed, the 30 is stagger stacked so the grip is a bit wider. Everything else is identical between the two. The pics on the Glock site are inaccurate. The pic on the 30 page is actually the 26. Here are the best pics I could find of my gun and your gun:CX - I dunno know about you but I can`t figure out the difference between the Glock 36 and the Glock 30, besides the mag capacity and the release dates. it looks like we basically have the same handgun. Nice AR15. I keep wanting to get the pistol version just cause it looks so damn cool.

My Dad has an SKS with a flash suppressor, 30, 20,10,10, and 5 rnd mags. He had a scope on it but he took it off because the shells kept hitting the scope.
We haven't gotten a pistol yet just cause they aren't as accurate as a rifle, and they cost quite a bit, but they are fun to shoot.
Im not really a gun expert but i have fired a 12 gaugem some rifle and a few pistols. The kickback never really hurt me for some reason.
The day i turn 18 i plan on getting an mp5 or an m16, im not really a gun freak i just think i need it for self protection.
How are you planning on getting and MP5? I thought they were illegal, and I'm pretty sure that the AR15's are like they publics M16, because I'm thinkin the m16s are illegal to the public.
If I were you I'd just get a good pistol like a .45.
But I really wanna shoot a Glock, Deagle, or an AR, those guns just look so cool.

First generation Smith & Wesson Model 645, made popular on "Miami Vice" after the Sonny Crockett character switched from the Bren Ten to the 645. Bought it new, ran several thousand rounds through it, from wadcutters to CCI "Blazer" 200gr. JHPs. Good gun.
Also had a bunch of various other small arms, from a Thompson Arms 9mm Colt Gov't model knock-off (not good at all), to a pair of Ruger MK II's, .22 cal in both 4" and a 6 7/8" barrels (tapered, not bull barrel). A couple of Jennings J-22 "Saturday night specials" in black teflon, an OLD Savage .410/ .22 over/under shotgun/rifle, and a Ruger 10/22 rifle.
Then we had our first baby. GUN SALE!
Actually, I just sold my 645 last year to a U.S. Customs agent who just happens to collect firearms. The rest of that collection is now history.
Boltsniper, have you shot the Desert Eagle yet, in any caliber? I recall discussing it with you sometime last year. It's pretty cool to shoot a round (I shot both .357 and .44 magnum versions) that would kick like a mule in a revolver, but in the DE would barely move, much like a .22, but with that massive shock wave and flame. Very, very nice.
Here on the island of Molokai, it's very rural, so hunting is an integral part of just about everyone's life, and with that, firearms are quite the reality around here. A friend of mine has his FFL, so he's been dogging me to buy some "products". I did purchase a Remington "Wingmaster" 870, 12 gauge, 28" barrel, but would like to put on some neat things (18" barrel, magazine extension, light mount) to make it more of a defense weapon than a bird shooter. Anything else...well, we'll have to see. Son is approaching shootin' age anyway.
Hey, cx, that Bushmaster .223 "pistol"...when I saw it, . I wonder if there's a way to get a telescoping stock on that thing. I'm sure they tried everything to keep us consumers from doing that. But wow...and the price, too! I'm in trouble now <g>.

It would of worked a lot better if you used the right color. Like this. ATB is a pussy eater...if by pussy he means penis. ZING! Just kiddin'.pussy eater
I've shot a .22 of some sort, and some guy's ruger pistol. I shot it too fast though, so he took it away. Damn firing range rules...
As for airsoft, I have a P90TR, its awesome and comfy. Plus, it looks badass to boot.

You know, I didn't really like the deagle in .44 mag. Maybe it's the weight, maybe it's the fit in my hand, but even with the low recoil, I just couldn't get that thing to be accurate. It's pretty cool to shoot a round (I shot both .357 and .44 magnum versions) that would kick like a mule in a revolver, but in the DE would barely move, much like a .22, but with that massive shock wave and flame. You want the Bushmaster pistol... it calls to you... Piney, buy me... I'm soooo cool...
After I get this year's contributions to a pair of educational IRAs maxed out, I may have enough left over for that baby.

Cxwq,
isn't that the gun the DC loser was using?
That is a pistol, not a long range rifle. The DC loser was using a M 16 rifle with a scope and silencer I beleive.
