I know, most, if not all of this stuff has been done before, but I haven't seen many writeups for extended draw. Anyways, here it is:

Posted Image
Start with your stock Nf

Posted Image
Open it up and pull this part out.

Posted Image
Take out these pieces and give them a bath in soapy water to remove the lube

Posted Image
Take the plunger stopper and drill out the three supports of the cap. You should be able to punch it out now.

Posted Image
Sand it out so that the ring is flush. Put some super glue on it and stick it on a CPVC coupler, it fits perfect.

Posted Image
Sand off the part of the coupler that sticks out so that it is flush with the ring.

Posted Image
Cut off the screw ports on the plunger tube, and cut off the piece above the laser. Sand out the hole until the plunger tube can fit through easily.

Posted Image
You also need to cut out the part of the shell before the catch housing, and the top of the plunger rod handle so it fits.

Posted Image
Put the internals in place, you might want a small spring to help keep the plunger rod from moving. Cock the plunger rod back, and put on the plunger tube. Put it up to a light, and move the plunger tube forward until there is only a tiny bit of plunger tube behind the O-ring. Mark where this is on that little window part of the shell.

Posted Image
Now, get a spring. It should be around the same as a NF replacement spring, only with more space between the coils since there is going to be more of it. The dimensions of mine are (7/8) *(8.5)*(.72), The first number is how wide it is, second is length, and third is something about the strength. Put your plunger rod in, and see how much spring you have to use, remember you can always cut more off.

Posted Image
Put the spring on, put some electrical tape under the O-ring to make the seal good, and glue some foam to the plunger head to pad it.

Posted Image
Take some epoxy putty and spread it around on one side of the shell and stick in your internals. Let it cure, don't do anything for at least an hour.

And here it is finished:

Uncocked

Cocked

Ranges are around 80-90 feet flat, it depends on how high you hold the blaster when you fire it flat. Effective range is probably 60 feet.

I have found that wrapping e-tape around the plunger tube where the front of the shell is and then hot gluing the plunger tube in works quite well. It also is easily removable, unlike your method.

The yellow balls are also slightly smaller in diameter than the green ones.

What is keeping the piece with the coupler in place,it seems like it would need maybe a screw holding it in or it might get shot off by the plunger shaft?

I've been looking how the hell to do this for so long. Thanks so much.

That way is fine too, I just thought that putty looked better. You can still take out the plunger rod easily

I guess I forgot to mention that you have to super glue that piece into the plunger tube, it's pretty obvious from the pictures though

I wanted to make a very noob friendly write-up so that everyone could do the mod, all I've seen are finished pictures of it.

Also, the O-ring I had is weird. It is a lot thinner than the black, and it got distorted and fell off the plunger head after awhile. I just replaced it with a black one and it's back to normal.

Yeah i just wasn't sure if you used epoxy putty like you did to your plunger tube. Anyway, very nice writeup and i am definitely going to have to try this on mine.

Have you had any trouble with the main spring jamming the catch?
