My foam that I have is too fat for my cpvc barrel and wanted to know if anyone has a solution or anything that could help me make it thinner so it will fit. Thanks in advance...

P.S. Yes I did try searching before I posted.

If you are part of the 8% who still listen to "real music",
copy and paste this into your signature

~~ If duct tape can fix it, it ain't broke...

Hanging weights from a length of foam is one method of straightening foam. A side effect is that if done incorrectly, the foam's diameter could decrease. You could try that to intentionally decrease the diameter.

However, it is easier to find barrels that fit your preferred foam. Try some different barrel materials. Also, try some different foams if you prefer CPVC.

The first is a good idea but I don't have that much time. I need them by tomorrow.

The second isn't really possible because my gun is already made and also I don't have that much time.

Foam stretching methods have been discussed at length in the dartsmithing thread. All the methods that I've seen discussed take a good deal of time. If you need a superfast foam stretching method, you should probably get inventing.
