So yeah, was hoping some one here might be able to help me as I've been spending quite some time trying to track this thing down and I'd swear to god I'd seen it here about a year back or so.
Basically some one had put together a modified long shot rifle that had some pretty spiffy LED setup. I'm not talking about the 'lancer' that has the added chainsaw however. This was, if I recall correctly, made up to look like an imperial blaster rifle from star wars. Had a light in the main barrel to represent a 'flash' from firing it, pretty sure the magazine and the side of the gun lit up too though memory is a little hazy by this point.
It had some pretty impressive work done to with with LEDs on the whole.
The reason I'm trying to find it is to show a friend of mine who's good with such things in an attempt to work with him to turn out something a little bit similar and I wanted to try and provide them with a good idea of the sort of thing I wanted to try and do.
It does involve gutting the whole gun however, meaning you can no longer actually fire Nerf darts out of it (bit of a shame that).
On the whole it's for a prop for a costume I'm in the process of trying to build.
Any help/suggestions are welcome, and hopefully I've stuck this in the proper place.
