Anybody miss the awesomeness of the Ultimator? I sure did. I was almost in tears when I discovered a new gun at TRU. Its called the XXL Rocket Launcher. I don't know if u guys have heard of it. It's basically an Ultimator re-release with a redesigned, futuristic shell. The pump handle is much more comfortable this time around, and the gun is just as loud and intimidating. I love this gun. Everyone should go out and pick one up before they become rarities like the Ultimator.

Would you mind posting a pic because I can't find it on ToysRUs.com and are there any apparent mods that could be done to it?

Yeah, Ill post a pic once my comp. is back up. But there I made a mod where it can shoot ping-pong balls, gyrostrike missles, darts, and the "rockets". This mod is a exterior mod completely so DO NOT OPEN IT UP. I did and all it is is a waste of time.I will explain and post pics later.

We are all very aware of this gun, its been out for a while. Did you even read the code of conduct? It's right at the top of the page, on the left, "Don't ask questions that have been answered already - use the built-in search function and try Google first." I understand that you are new, but do a little research before you go post happy. It'll save you a lot of flack later on.

I could get you a pic, but not today. I don't feel like hookin up my camera and what not. Modding the gun seems extremely improbable, but if someone was really skillfull and patient they may find a way. It definitely does not lend itself to modding though.

You double posted, and you pste a topic that alredy existed, and the other one was much better. I reccomend you read the last 3 pages of mods section and general nerf, and that will only give you a jist of where we are as a community.

Lay down on the guy, hes used to the NC enviorment.

Anyway i dont really see a point in modding this gun. Youve gotta pump it like 15 times and its pretty inacurate. Personally i think the feel of shooting basically a show at the opponents is good enough.

Why would you want to mod it? It's a ROCKET LAUNCHER! It would take away the entire point of it if it shot darts.

It says on the box that it gets 60 feet, but I've noticed that mine tends to curve out at about 40-45 feet. I think the range on the box is pretty accurate.

sorry wolf, i just can't agree with you. Extremely accurate? Wow, where did you come from, Planet Inaccurate? You can't even hit people from 10 feet away, most of the time, and aside from that, you can just dodge if someone shoots at you. All i can see that it's good for is scaring your friends. Like, when they come to your house, have your parents open the door, then shoot at them. But it's better with a RF20.

It is definetly pretty accurate tex. I hit my friend from at least 40 feet with it and it goes so fast that it is pretty hard to dodge. plus it scares the hell out of people. B)
