THIS MIGHT BE ONE OF THE BEST RECON MODS I'VE EVER SEEN. AND I'VE SEEN A LOT. Dude, kudos on the labor and money spent. Clean.

Don't type in caps. Your excitement can be adequately expressed through the use of an exclamation mark.

Also, we're glad you've seen a lot of recon mods...here...on nerfhaven...where our primary focus is the modification and use of nerf guns.....

How did you manage to get the Raider drum to work backwards like you did? I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and ask for a writeup as well.

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out. But I am curious as to how you relocated the trigger so that it can fire both.

From what I can tell, he used some plasti-card to bridge the 2 together on the bottem, in essence making one piece.

No way, it's way to clean to be Frankenstein-ish, if he paints it, I'd bet it'll be hard to tell it was not always like that

Definitly looking forward to seeing a write-up for these guns. Very creative indeed.

Sorry about the caps thing, but the Recon is my first Nerf gun, so I put my heart and soul into modding it 'til it broke. I was 11 then. And then I discovered real Nerf guns. Nerfhaven isn't the only place on earth to find good Recon mods.

I think that a lot of the things you did in this ('this' meaning both the recon and the raider mod) could be used in many other modifications. Especially the single handle. I have never seen that before. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is one of a kind.

A wright up would be greatly appreciated. B)

You could always open up the right half, empty out the internals, then dremel off half of the screwports (I believe they are on tower-like things in the Recon) and drill holes where they used to be so you can get at the left side's screws. Both Recons would be held together by half the normal amount of screws, but it has so many unnecessary ones (like 5 in the handle) that it shouldn't matter.

EDIT: That thing needs a faux barrel that's really really wide (like maybe 2" or 2 1/4" PVC enveloping both barrels) and has a foregrip mounted on the bottom. That would also give you room for an AT2K integration, raising range, fire rate, comfort, and versatility. Plus it means you're not confined to indoor wars - they're just one strength after another.

According to your mom, size matters. My blaster is four feet long. What about yours?

I measured mine and I got about 11 inches.

Did you have to do anything special to make the 2 drums fit next to eachother, other then fliping one around?
