First things first, this has probably been done before but I haven't looked at anything close to this type of thing.
I am basically just putting a barrel on the titan.
The materials needed will be:

-Stock NF barrel (or barrel of your choice)
-Hot glue gun/ about 6 sticks of glue (I am absolutely CRAZY about leaks)
-Maverick faux barrel or stabilizer that can fit a Buzz Bee dart shell in it (Orange front piece where darts leave the actual gun)
-Duct tape
-Patience (Something I don't have)
-Nerf Titan of course
-Buzz bee dart shell (What the dart is put in)
-Cutting tool of choice

It is easier for me to post links (I don't know how to insert pics into a post)


Anyways, on to the "mod". First, you'll need to untwist the stock barrel off of the Titan.
(No pic, pretty self explanatory)

Next you'll have to cut down the Buzz Bee shell like so:

(It is basically to the point where it gets to be thicker or 1 5/16")

Now take your faux barrel (or something to keep everything straight) and insert the buzz bee shell and glue it in like so:

The glue is on the other side. And you probably guessed it, the Buzz Bee shell is to reduce dead space by a little bit.

Now hot glue the NF barrel on to where the shell is slightly skinnier.(The shell should go on almost perfectly)

Put on the duct tape for extra support and make it less sloppy and you're done!

What a giant waste of a Titan. There are so many truly good mods for the Titan, that simply taping a stock barrel to it is a ridiculous thing to even post.

Well, I thought it was okay for the ranges it has, but think. I don't do ANY mods because my parents think I'll just cut myself on something or think I will hot glue my finger to my face. I still only have a stock NF. This is my first mod ever. And this is without research...
And like I said above, I plan to put a clip breech on it. I was hardly aloud to do this mod.

This thread is pretty unfortunate...

The mod isn't bad. It's your first time after all, and it works fine. This isn't the sort of thing I would recommend others trying though. You'll get better results from using a better barrel material (CPVC, PETG, brass) than any stock barrel. The thing that stood out to me was where you said you didn't do any research before hand. Why not? It can only help you.

Keep talking with your parents. Don't throw a hissy fit, but make clear to them your desire to pursue this sort of hobby. Knowing how to work with your hands and use tools to fix or create things is an extremely valuable skill, one that's more than worth learning, and the only way to learn it is by getting your hands dirty. Make sure they understand that your intentions are to be constructive, not destructive. It's not like you're making homemade "fireworks" and tying them to Barbie dolls. Be persistent, but not overbearing, and show them you can be mature about it, and eventually they'll let you do more. Good luck.

I guess I never thought of it that way...I guess i just expected more posts like this saying that's pretty good, for a first mod. But my parents let me use hot glue now (Still begging to use an exacto knife,and saw). I used pliers to tear the shell down to the thicker part, as the plastic down there was thin. I have a spray painted NF shell.(Thank goodness they let me use spray paint!) But all in all, you have to remember, I just did this for the fun of actually doing a mod, and to prove to my brother that nerf guns can hit over 100 ft. But if they ban me... (I expect them to, from the above posts. Because people have already quoted some, I can't go back to edit all of them.) I guess this is a farewell for a good amount of time.(I hope not) And just remember, I am a noob...

EDIT: I plan on using my ½ PVC for a barrel replacement once I get 25.00 to get stefans from Ice Nine...( A noob like me couldn't do a clip breech...)

I'm sorry, but unless you have parents that force you to live in a plastic bubble, or you're 13 and your parents don't know that for some reason, there's no way this kid is at least 13. However, your post quality is good, so there's nothing else to point out. If the administrators don't get on you about this, I hope that you'll continue to mod and get better at it.
And about the stefans, there really isn't much of a need to buy them, esepcially for that price. (Not that Unholy Three overcharges, they seem to have pretty good prices from what I can remember) The alternative is that since you can use hotglue, go spend ~$10 on materials to make a hundred or so darts out of backer rod, adhesive felt discs, and #8 washers. In other words, Slug Darts. You can search those key words and will most likely come up with a few results.
Anyway, as for some reccomendations on your mod, there really isn't a whole lot else to say, people have already said it; an NF stock barrel sucks hard as a barrel, it's much to short, the dart fit is sub-par, and there are many more, better barrel materials. Don't use 1/2 Sch.40 PVC though, it has a horrible fit with 1/2" Foam; its much to loose. For the titan I'd go with PETG or Brass. PETG can be ordered from One Man Clan, or occasionally found at some Pet Stores.

I just put on my 1/2 inch pvc (unfortunately sch 40)and the reason I need stefans is the streamlines are too small and are very loose fitting

Well, it was nice knowing ya dude. Keep on modding and such.

Just so you know, 1/2" stephans won't fit better in 1/2" SCH40 PVC than stock darts. However, if you use stock taggers instead of streamlines, you should get a good fit.

Glad to be back at the 'Haven after my dumb move in the mods/ paint jobs
thread. Anyways, ignore all of the posts up to here. I have sucessfully re-re-re-re-re-barreled a titan.
This time with nylon? tubing that didn't show any dimensions. However it does fit the darts PERFECTLY
that I recieved in a trade from the unholy 3. (Which are perfect as well). I just did a range test and got the
results.

All with 15 pumps, angled from a 5 ft person.
Shot 1: 132 ft
Shot 2: 129 ft
Shot 3: 137 ft
Shot 4: 146 ft *
Shot 5: 139 ft
*This must have been a perfect dart. Or the wind picked up.
Overall it's nice but it definitely needs work. I got consistant 140's with a stock nitefinder barrel and streamlines.
I also just had another b-day party and now I have enough money for more guns.
Expect more things from me.

Wait, you angled your shots and still got only mid 130's? The titan is know to get close to 200' at best. A plugged bbbb can get 120' and the tank is significantly smaller.

Some things to look at:

1. Tubing probably isn't the best thing to use as a barrel, because your barrel needs to be perfectly straight.
2. 15 pumps seems kind of low. a pump replacement will help.
3. How long is your barrel? Titan barrels need to be very long to effectively use the air output. Some are as long as two feet.

A bit off topic, but how do you have multiple birthday parties?

Plubby, I'd suggest you read through the mods that others have done to their Titans. Either use the search function or check the modifications directory. Just putting a barrel on it has been done so many times before, and you can read up on the "right" way to go about it and get good results from the people who have experience with it. There's nothing wrong with what you're doing by trying things out for yourself, but it really doesn't do the rest of us any good for you to post a thread/writeup about your experimentations when we've already seen it done successfully before.
