I thought of a new game and want to give it a try at the warm up war.
NiteFinder Push
The game will be played with 2 teams.
At the start of the game both teams can only use Nitefinders.
There will only be one other blaster for the teams to use.
In the middle of the field will be a Vulcan, and both teams will have to fight for it.
Each team has an unlimited amount of lives if they are hit by the Nitfinders.
If you are hit by the Nitefinder you will have to run back to your base and count to ten to respawn.
If you get hit by the Vulcan, you are out of the game.
Each team can only use one Vulcan chain.
After the chain has been emptied, the Vulcan has to go back to the middle of the field and have a thirty second respawn.
At that time everyone backs away from the Vulcan and returns to their respective bases so each team has an equal chance of getting it again. It won’t matter if the same team gets the Vulcan after each respawn, that’s how the game plays.
I think this will be kick-ass!
What do you guys think of the game type?
Everyone try and bring someone with you. We all have more then enough of blasters to share with some new people. Don't forget are goal this summer is to build a strong Washington nerf group. It will be as good as we make it.
I'm pretty excited about tomorrow. I can't wait to nerf with everyone again.

How have I been missing these? When is the next one?
*demand demand demand*
I thought the only WA wars were at Kinzie. What else have I missed?

What's the play like? At Kinzie and in our gym (University of Puget Sound Nerf Squad) we use mostly short-range stuff, stock ammo only. The longer ranges hurt around corners. I've played in parks though, and in my experience, range was king. Is that the case here?

There's been a thread for each one. And yeah, definitely farther shooting blasters than at Kinzie. It seems that most skirmishes take place in about a 40 to 80 foot range.I don't see any threads for them... are they invite only? Otherwise I'll just keep a better eye out, I guess. I'm not going to ask, but I won't complain if someone shoots me a PM for the next one.

It was a good war. Two people showed up: Darth Freyr and a guy who is waiting for validation.
Pros:
Getting out and nerfing again. Its been too long.
Getting to use some of my new blasters I got over winter and using them. most memorable would have to be my SM1500. That has got to be one of my top five favorites to use.
Having a lot of fun despite the rain.
Getting to play a lot of zombie rounds. It was awesome to see two Vulcans and two Raiders set up too take out the zombies. It made it a challenging game play for the zombies.
Meeting up with everyone again.
Trying out my painted IronMan mask. I made it a big smiley face, like the one from Army Of Two.
Cons:
Rain. It kept sprinkling through out the day, but at certain parts of the day it just poured and we had to stop for a few minutes to let it pass.
Breaking my Pistol Splats barrel on the first round of the day.
Having my SplitFire spring a leak after the first round. I think it was too cold for it, because when I got home and played with it it started to work again.
Not bringing enough zombie weapons. I'll bring all the axes and swords for the other wars.
Overall it was pretty good. I'm looking forward to getting out again and nerf with everyone.
Flaming Hilt: The next war should be on the 24th of this month. I'll probably be changing some of the dates and moving some of the wars to Sunday. I need to break out the calendar and see.

[note: I do realize we aren't the only ones coming, so this is just a request (not a demand). No offense taken should you choose to make it Saturday. Also, most of our blasters are short-range and we use stock ammo only so that will be... interesting]

That one should be on Sunday the 25th, please. UPS already has a match planned for Saturday, and it's likely to be our last home match of the year, so I'd like to keep it on campus. Sorry.

I'll have to get back to you on changing the date. Out of curiosity does Sunday (25th) work for everyone else?
I should have some spare guns to lend out. Out many people are in your group?

We would probably have a full car, so about five people. Though if it really is range that dominates, then we'll need a few months to get some guns of that par. So in that case, don't worry about it.
Range is not king at these wars, but it is dominate. The last war I attended I brought a friend who used a modded recon with drum clip all day and did fine. He wasn't breaking anymore than 40 or so feet. I would personally love to see more emphasis on short to mid range firefights and rushes and think you guys could really trip people up with it.
I'll also bet there will be some long range loaner blasters.
On topic though, I'm, again, a pretty big maybe due to work.

I'm going to do everything possible to be at the next war, and I'll be RSCB'ing a couple of my air guns in the next week or so, so I'd be able to loan some. I've also got a BBB that's hitting about 70 with a CPVC speed loader, so I'd loan that as well; no spring replacement. We would probably have a full car, so about five people. As far as dates go, Saturday or Sunday will work fine for me; that is if I don't have baseball practice Saturday morning, but I doubt I will since the last couple weeks we haven't.

Hilt: I have a bunch of sm1.5k's and at2k's to hand out. Granted your group could be trusted with not over pumping, especially on the 1.5k's.

I talked to some of my friends and if they all show up I should be bringing about 4+ people.
Also a quick run down of the rules:
Eye protection is madatory.
No blaster that can shoot over 150'
No singled titans.
No headshots( I know they happen sometimes but lets not try to do it ).
Just so we can all have a good time I think we should read this again: Link
