Hey Nerfers,

I'm fairly new to Nerf mods and I have been having difficulty modding my friend's AS-20. 1) I can't get the entire shell off of the gun. All of the screws I can find have been removed but the black knob just above the clear air tube and spring will not come off. 2? I was able to pry the gun open enough to remove the barrel and take out the air restrictors, but now I cannot figure out how to properly set the gun back up--specifically I can't figure out how to put the white plunger type mechanism and spring back into the gun in the correct position. (Mostly because I can't even get the outside shell off the gun. If anyone has any advice or any pictures of the inside of the AS-20 I would really appreciate it.

Thanks Again!

First off, there is no CS-20. There is an RF-20, which I think is what you are describing. But regardless, this thread is USELESS without pictures. Take some pics of the parts you are having difficulty with, and post them up here.

We encountered the same difficulties in opening up the RF-20. Instead of trying to detach the black piece that you are speaking of, we just cut it open with a saw.
