Hello,

Thanks for the validation. This is my first post.

I just wanted to share a problem that I finally solved... Storage of our Nerf Guns.

I looked into using peg board or wood to make a rack but decided to go with PVC instead.

So, after a lot of weeks measuring & laying things out in my mind, I went and bought some 1" PVC & "T" fittings.

After another week of cutting measuring & test fitting I ended up with this.

I made hangers for the guns from wire clothes hangers. I wrapped a piece of the wire around the PVC to form an "S" shape & cut it using wire cutters.

Anyway......here is the end result!

If anyone has any questions or wants measurements etc, let me know & I will be glad to help!

PS....I just added a 20" additional section to the back.....I think that means we are getting too many guns.

Wow, that looks really nice. Much better than the cardboard or rubbermaid boxes most people have, and a much more different look than peg board.

That is very cool. Very cool. I do like my trusty peg boards, though. Also, sexy first post man.

What you see in the pics was about $15. With the new section I added on it is about $20.

My Longshot is the Red Strike series (from Wal-mart) I have a red Recon & Vulcan too. ( I really want a clear Maverick but cant find one at wal-mart & I am not paying ebay prices!) :)

Nice! This is a really cool home made storage idea, I might make one so my mom can stop yelling yelling at me to clean my room.

I'm also curious about the red LongShot, is it part of the Red Strike thing? And is that ammo belt home made as well? Where do you live? I've seen things about nerf making ammo belts.

I posted above your post about the Red Longshot. It is the Red Strike series.

The ammo belt is the following product:
xstream air ammo strap and pouch by Lanard

It comes with a nylon strap with 5 plastic pieces that hold 2 darts each for a total of 10. It also comes with 2 clip pouches made of plastic & 30 darts. I found it on clearance at Wal-mart for $4.50. I am from PA

I might just have to go and make one of these my self. Too many guns and too little storage.

Just wait when the clear series comes out. I'm sure Wal-Mart will be full of them lol. Nice job on the gun rack but I'll stick with my trunk o' awesomeness for now till I fill up my 3rd one, then I may construct a full wall version of this lol.

I actually really like this. Not all of us are lucky enough to live somewhere where we can indiscriminately nail up pegboards, and this would be waaay cost-effective.

This is one of those posts that you can't decide what post it should be in. Modifications? Homemades? Perhaps Off Topic?

I realy like this, and i seriously want to build one, except smaller. How much room does this take up? My living quarters aren't exactly big.

We don't have military tactics or specialized training. We're fucking kids playing with plastic guns trying to tag each other.

This also seems more efficient then a peg board. With this you can put the guns right up next to each other were as with peg boards blasters sometimes have to be arranged awkwardly to keep them from falling. All in all great job and first post.

It costs about 15 - 20 bucks. (15 is the one in the picture.....20 is the new additional top rack which I will post pics of soon)

It is all 1" PVC.

I like it, but the thing I like about peg boards is that they take the guns away from the floor giving you a bit more space in your workshop and they have a low profile. While, this one keeps the guns on the floor. But, other than that it is good.

I had no wall space....that is why I was thinking of free standing peg board, or wood or the pvc. No doubt I bet the guns look sweet on peg board all displayed! Got a pic of it?

OK.....Here are pics of the "expanded" Rack. I added another bar n the top in the back section.

Wow, great creation. One improvement that I think could be made would be to put a thin tubing, such as vinyl tubing, onto the coat hanger wire so that you don't scratch any of the blasters. Great job.

On another note, over time I have collected pictures of arsenals organized in different ways. I saw that you wanted to see someone's peg board and so I thought I would post some pictures of other people's arsenals.

NOTE: None of these pictures are mine.
