I found this blaster at my local thrift store along with a few other things not to long ago. After inspecting this thing, I noticed the "Supermaxx 750" sticker on the side and had a feeling it would be of use to me.



Now let's start with getting your supplies.

What you'll need:
►e-tape
►1/2 inch CPVC
►1 1/2 CPVC coupler
►One pipe cutter (not pictured)
►Adhesive of your choice (not pictured)
►And of course your favorite set of screwdrivers



Start by removing the two orange rings. This was easy for me because I was able to simply twist off the cap on the front of the gun, and used a screwdriver to remove the ring on the pump's end.



After the rings are out of the way, let's open the gun up. Use your pipe-cutter to cut on the line where the AR is placed. (thanks to man_with_many_guns for the internals pic)



It should look like this when you're done.


Next, I've hot-glued the trigger spring like many before me have done.


Cut roughly 1 7/8 inches of CPVC and wrap it with e-tape until it fits snugly in the cut barrel.




If you didn't guess, slap that coupler on the end of the pipe. Make sure to glue everything in place then set it to dry.


After you've put that back in the shell, let's take a look at the pump. I took out the pump...rod and found these four corner-esq. pump stoppers. Let's sand these away and extend the length of the pumping distance roughly a quarter of an inch. I've not seen anyone do this in any of the mods before mine, but I might've over looked something.


This is the pump sanded down. I've actually found doing this slight extension to the pump length enables me to have to only pump it three times instead of the usual four while still having maximum ranges.


And I have of course plugged the pump. (I apologize for the slightly blurry pic)


Once you've finished that, put all this pack into place inside the shell.


As you can see, the coupler is flush with the original shell and it's a perfect fit!

Lastly, put in the barrel of your choice. The ranges of a 6 inch CPVC barrel are between 85-90 feet.


Sadly, with my five shot RSCB, the ranges are reduced down to around 50 feet(am I doing it wrong?).

please not that in the image, the barrel may seem crooked(bent downwards) it is not.

This is my first write-up. While I know that this gun has been modded before, I'm just breaking the ice, so be nice :]

please not that in the image, the barrel may seem crooked(bent downwards) it is not.

Your clip probably has too much volume. Try switching to a shorter clip, or use PVC for the clip. Yes, this would mean redoing some stuff, but it shouldn't be too hard.(For PVC)

That would greatly reduce volume I suppose, seeing as how my clip is 3/4 CPVC. Thanks polycarb :]

Try making the clip a bit shorter, and maybe nest some copper in it to reduce deadspace.

As slick as that all looks, its just too much deadpace for good ranges.

It does seem like it would be modular, so just swap back and forth between a typical speedloader and your rscb.

Since JSB hasn't jumped in yet, I'll say it. You don't want a dome of hot glue sticking out the end of the pump head. This will ruin the check valve in the pump over time. Pull that clump out, and re-apply just enough hot glue so that it will seal the OPV, and leave a depression in the pump head. You don't need much glue at all.

To help reduce RSCB dead space, you could also use a 1/2" CPVC T connector and a length of 1/2" Copper pipe for the clip portion.

For those ranges with such an easy mod I am gonna have to find one of these. For the RSCB are all of the shots hitting fifties? If only the last one or two shots are then it's just the deadspace which is normally the problem with larger RSCB's. Anyways nice mod and writeup !

This is an awesome idea, and makes me a little sad that my SM750 won't be opening anytime soon. If it ever breaks or I get another, I'm definitely doing this.

As far as clips go, you could always try an inline one. I know they aren't supposed to work well with air guns, but maybe you have enough deadspace already that it would be alright.

For a sonic bazooka an inline works very well, the tank volume looks about the same as the 750 so that might do the trick. I recomed 3 shots to keep dead space down, that woks well for me.

An inline clip might just work. I would try it if the RSCB won't work.

Awesome mod dude, I love the SM750 and it's backwards-pump style. I always though it was cute. I just wish my first-post writeup was as good as this one.
Probably the reason you're getting the small range with the RSCB is the close to 2 inches of dead space between the air release and where your clip tube is located. If you were to slap that elbow right to the air tank and mutilate that cute little shell, you'd probably be hitting around 65, maybe even 70 or 75 ft.
The SM750 is such a great gun even as a single shot side-arm that I don't really think you need an RSCB; it seems kind of redundant in my eyes, but if you're using it as a primary for indoor wars than that's a different story.
God damn I wish I could find a 750 or 1500 at my goodwill. So far I've found a beat to hell SM3k, NB-1 Missle Blaster and some worthless blasters, haha. I hope your searches bring in good hauls in the future.

Following your advice, I have taken a razor blade to that *lump* of hot glue and now it won't be ruining my check valve anytime soon

Draconis: I will be heading to the local hardware store for some RSCB improvements. I thought i had some half inch copper tube laying around (from newb days) but I guess not...

billyblue888: All five shots are getting in the fifties. I just figured the RSCB would reduce ranges so I didn't think to hard on it.

Hi Yah!: I know that would help. Maybe asking five shots out of this lil' gun was a stretch.

MrBadWrench: This, at the time, is my universal blaster. So switching from long range to clipped goodness is a perfect idea.

I did the mod with a new style one earlier http://nerfhaven.com...showtopic=14512 , it is good to know the coupler fits so great in the old style one as well. You are unbelievably lucky to have a front cap that just pops off... That is what usually makes the SM750 mods so ugly.
