Okay so my friend just gave me their longshot and they said that the gun jams up from the streamlines. Basically the 7 streamlines that came with it are all shredded up on the sides, torn up and chewn probably from the bolt. I stuck in a magazine with my own streamlines and after I shot them, all six streamlines had faint marks of something scratching them so I stopped shooting the longshot at the moment. I'm living in a dorm in college so I don't exactly have access to a lot of tools at the moment, nor the time to open it up and do something extensive, but I was just wondering has this happened to anyone who owns a longshot and what you guys have done to fix the problem if it has occurred? I don't really want to open it up unless there isn't a simple solution to it. We use only stock weaponry so streamlines/dart taggers are what we are using with and I'm not really keen on shredding up these streamlines which are already pretty crappy to begin with. Well most of the clip fed N-Strike line tends to shred darts from time to time. Mostly when the darts are older or when you try fire the darts too fast. i have two Longshots( one with a Raider spring added and the other with a BBB spring) and they both tend to shred darts a little or in half from time to time. Try firing new streemlines in it and see what happens.

Most likely it's the darttooth that shreds the dart.

Since the Longshot sounds like it should be stock, I can only think of either the bolt or the dart tooth, and more likely the dart tooth, is misaligned slightly. Though you don't want to open it, you probably need to--you will only need a screwdriver and a lot of patience (27 screws total, don't forget that there's another screw under the folding bipod leg). Look at the internals directory in the modifications section (it's a pinned topic) to see how every part goes into place, and see if the dart tooth is positioned directly.

Also as others said, when even 1 Streamline dart starts to get ripped or squished, it affects the entire clip--I've ruined about 20 Streamlines because each jam led to another jam, so you have to use the darts carefully (Nerf sort of worked on this issue with the Raider's drum clip, making the spring feeding lighter and therefore less jam-prone).

I have to agree with all of the previous posters. I have two Longshots and they both tend to shred darts occasionally. You could try to make your own darts from FBR (Caulk Saver at Lowe's/Home Depot). They normally are much stronger and tear-resistant than stock streamlines (plus if you make them right, they go farther). The other option is to open it up and fix whatever the problem is inside. However that's just how I would do it. Do whatever suits you and your situation the best. Hope this helps.
