Anyway, we can make a makeshift core otherwise. I'm not sure who's powerball shit was at MANO, but if those persons are attending this one, bring them. We won't have any room for anything other than blasters and tacticool shit.

Don't bother ordering wyes from me--I'll bring a fuckload, and I'll take care of you.

For the core, if you're going to make something new, lets try a core that's big enough to shoot into, rather than forcing people to just run up to it and stick their barrel inside. Also, openings on all 4 sides would be cool.

Boundaries are absolutely necessary, and were a huge factor in making MANO rock as hard as it did.

Because I really don't want to make a trading thread open to a few people. If anyone attending the war wants to buy my PAS I will sell it for $15. If not I won't bring it with. The shell is in bad shape, but the gun works fine.

Unless the weather is just total shit, we shouldn't change the date. It would be a huge inconvenience to change the date to next week, in fact, I doubt myself and many others could attend. I could probably handle having it on Sunday, though. Yeah, Julian has the core.

Julian HAD the core until his dogs destroyed the shit out of it, the PVC sat near my furnace and warped, and all the glue just came off. So I have a kinda held together cardboard box, and thats about it.

Probably not going to happen. I just bought out most of the brass, and I need it for my own purposes. They might get more in before Saturday, but I am not sure. If they do, what size(s) do you want? Also, this probably won't happen, but if anybody wants to come down here and have a bit of a modding session on Thursday or Friday, that would be alright. I have a LOT of tools, materials, space, and all that good stuff.

Just FYI; 1/4 slingshot weighted megas seemed to do a good job at meltdown. They made for a slight stepdown in range, without altering gameplay too significantly. Make them heavier than that and I think you're not gonna see much of a difference from micros.

1/4 slingshot weights sound fine to me. Just don't put hot glue domes on them; they hurt just as much on megas as on micros. Instead, burn a hole in the dart so that the weight is just under the top surface, seal it in with hot glue, then slap a felt disc over it. The megas I used at MANO were made using that style. I had koree shoot me in the stomach with a +bow from 3 feet away as a test, and they were comparable to a slug micro in degrees out ouch.

I'll be bringing felt and washers to sell. $12.50 for a set of 500 each. If you don't have access to mcmaster-carr, you can buy some from me, so that you can make some slug darts for the next war.

A high of 56 is forcast for tomorrow, along with showers. The ground is fairly dry, so boots probably won't be necessary. Bring them anyway, just in case. It will be somewhat windy, but not Mano-windy.
