I am starting a project having to do with ballistic balls, and I was wondering what size PVC fit them the best. They need to be standard nerf ballistic balls, not any replacements. So, just standard PVC that fits these balls. If some makes a single fucking perverted joke, I swear to god.....

I use 1.5 inch pvc which fits them pretty tight... That's the closest size that you can get that fits them as far as I have researched.

Which ballistic balls are you talking about? Yellow, green, and blue balls all have different diameters.

But if he is asking PVC size the color of the ball won't matter since the balls aren't too different in diameter.

1.5 inch PVC works very nicely, if you sand down the barrel a tad. The 1.5 inch thinwall does not work as well.

Another possibility is to use a 1.5" coupler, with the internal ridge sanded down a bit. It acts the same as a stock ball blaster barrel, which uses a retaining ridge, rather than a true barrel.

Alright guys, thanks for all the help. I went to the hardware store and picked up some 1.5 PVC and couplers, and it works great.

Huh. I thought for sure that I'd posted the sizing somewhere before, but I can't locate it.

Essentially it's this:

Stock Nerf/Buzzbee/Lanard/ERTL foam balls are all about 1.75", or 44mm in diameter.
Target Golf Balls are 41.5mm, or about 1.625".
K-Mart and Fred Meyer/Kroger golf balls are 39mm, or about 1.55".
Lanard Ball Blaster (the little one) and Rappn' Fire blaster balls are 32.5mm, or about 1.25-1.3"
Power Popper balls are 29.5mm, or about 1.125".
BattleMax balls are 23.5mm, or about .925".

1.5" Thinwall PVC's ID is about 1.75"
1.5" SCH40 PVC is about 1.6".
1.25" Thinwall PVC is about 1.5".
1.25" SCH40 PVC is about 1.36".
1" Thinwall PVC is about 1.125".
1" SCH40 PVC is about 1.0".
3/4" Thinwall PVC is about 0.96"
3/4" SCH40 PVC is about 0.81"
