There's no point in using that unless you're going to launch vortex footballs or something. Even there, that valve would probably turn a nerf football into a flirtation with fatality. That valve is the result of people trying to get maximum muzzle velocity out of cannons with a 3" bore and 10' barrel length. Spud howitzers, basically.
A standard 3/4" sprinkler solenoid valve has more than enough flow for typical nerf applications, including arrows and Lanard style missiles.

The solenoid valve he uses in the lower "MEGAH!" valve looks alot like the one cxwq uses for his BAMF homemade.
By the way, am I the only one who finds cxwq's hands somehow... arousing? He has such a firm grip, yet tender. Anyways, just curious.

Well I don't have time to break out my science notes and figure out how much power that is but jesus....

i wasnt thinking about firing nerf darts! that thing would destry them! It could be used to fire some sort of gigantic nerf projectile, though. Cx, that was my plan. One gigantic nerf bazooka! Although i could just use a solenoid valve...

Do they make manual bleed solenoid valves that fit one inch PVC?
