New Gametypes to be played,

This war we will be trying a few relatively. new gametypes, including:
-Inverse plunger rounds; these rounds will be played with the same rules as normal gametypes, but you will be restricted to using blasters with inverse plungers (if we have enough inverse blasters)
-Left 4 Dead style HvZ; unlike standard HvZ the zombies will have multiple spawn locations, there will be 2 - 4 zombies for each human, and the humans will not become zombies when tagged, but merely killed and sent to a spawn location where the other humans must save them by tagging them.
-Alternative ammo rounds, you can use anything except micros.

What to Bring:

-Primary.
-Pistol.
-Blaster with a inverse plunger.
-Water (1-2 gallons per person is preferred, depending on the weather we have)
-Food (Bring a bag lunch)
-A good attitude, ready to nerf most, if not all, of the day.

What NOT to bring

-Singled,Plugged blasters that originally fired anything bigger then a mega dart (exceptions will be made for ball-firing blasters.)
-Singled Titans. Mav-titans must have a Shotgunned barrel (that means you must have 3 barrels or more, no putting multiple darts in a single barrel)

Please don't pump your blasters to an indecent amount, take hits, and be friendly. Remember, we are playing with toy blasters here. If any incidents with other nerfers / police / bystanders occur, the host will deal with the problem.

Rico, a mongo titan fires 1" diameter darts. I honestly don't think pain will be a factor there.

Anyway...I'm in limbo for this war...I might make it, might not. If someone could loan me out some darts (I'm not bringing guests) That would be fantastic.

Ok... With an intro to a recap like that what could go wrong? It was a fantastic war. Only about four hours of good solid nerf but oh well.

Pros:
*Having a completely new group show up to our war
*Getting to see and hold a longstrike, then realizing, that I will never purchase one for actual use in a war
*Not getting shot in the face this time. (the one time I bring eye protection. pfft)
*Being able to talk about foamtalk with someone that actually listens to it
*Awesome zombies round
*Getting to hang out with some older nerfers
*Gross sex stories

Cons:
*Everyone left early. It was supposed to be from ten to six. More like ten-thirty to two.
*Mike180 was there. (just kidding mike!)

All in all it was a fantastic war. Got some good shots, took some good shots, and had a lot of fun!

-Finally had fun in a zombies round
-Stud Muffins lying about having a girlfriend and doing anything with her.

Well first recap ever for this site. As mentioned I was one of the older guys. Brought a whole new group and experiances to this and Im happy to say it was most certainly worth the time.

Pros;
~ New players
~ New field, Outdoor play, my group is almost all indoor with a small % being outdoor. So it was good fun.
~ Its was interesting to see some of the younger guys mods. Very powerful with the homemade rounds.
~ New friends
~ Seeing some Effeminate moments. I really only saw some from my side, but when Brett lunched the stock streamline and nailed the guy in the head fomr like 20 yards. Priceless.
~ Its was a good game for us. Its was nice to face off against a new group with some many unknowns factors.
~ New project that is being label "Classified" at this time. You guys better look out next time we meet. ;O)

Cons;
~ The drive. Proble the worst part of it all but it was worth the fuel.
~ Potenial of being out numbered.
~ Misc people in the playing area but what could really be done about that.
~ Wind greatly affected our steamlines
~ Personal luncher jams that havent happen before. Must be that Denver air.
~ Losing our darts. I know we should make homemades so its is cheaper in the future

On the Fence;
~ Honest opinion- The zombie game based after Left 4 Dead was a great idea. I enjoyed the idea alot. However, I feel that the game could of used more structure and refined rules. Has a ton of potential to be great game.
~ Honest opinion- Refined and well though out rules for each game and a briefing of the game and rules before we start is a must need.

Closing thoughts. I must apoligize for us having to leave early. Ginger had his sisters birthday party he needed to attend to and he was lucky he even came at all. The weather was fairly cool out and by the time 4 o clock would of rolled around it would of been very cold and starting to get dark let alone 6 o clock. The spring and summer time would make for great games with warm weather and plenty of sunlight to work with. I look forward to our next outing together as a group and hopefully will have some updated lunchers and a new secret weapon prepared by than. We have some new recruits and with time and preperation we could be bring some new groups. It would be my hope that one day you could come up to Greeley and enjoy some CQC battles with us one day in the future. Thank you for all the knowlegde learned and next time we meet Im sure it will be better than the last.

Dont count on us wanting to split up very much. When you play as a team as much as we have you learn that spliting up is something you dont enjoy doing to often. However, next time we meet in Denver and your hosting I would like to to split my group up for a few rounds so that we may teach you guys a few things about teamwork and squad tactics, if that is ok with you. Afterward we will combine back up and go about our usual andsee just how much you guys have learned.
