I have wanted to make one of these for a while and after seeing the wohnson89's thread, I decided it was time to make a thread.

For most of these pictures, I took the "Nerf drawings" from a website (still trying to remember what it is), put them into photoshop, redid all the colors, patched them up, and re-saved them. If the courtesy is not labeled, consider it to be from said site. I know they are mostly all the older guns but hopefully we can add more templates.

Without further adieu, I present the Template Directory.

This could be very helpful for planning about job, but some of the templates are quite crude...

I see what you're saying, but just give them a try. They seem to work really well.

Where's that very pretty new template for the Longshot? That would be very nice to have in a directory.

Thanks. If you don't mind making a short tutorial on how to make the templates from pictures, I think we would all appreciate it. Also, do you use GIMP?

Can you post it here? I think it would be best to contain it all into one place so that people can find it easily.

Well i might be able to post a DIY of how to make templates on this topic, but i will be very busy for the next week with homework. Because of this i might not get around to making it until next weekend.

p.s. sorry if my grammar was a little bad in that last post, i was in a rush. I know it sounds like a very crappy excuse but its just what happened.

Okay. Well, while you're here, can you at least tell us the technique you use?

To help a painter so he knows what his gun will look like prior to painting.

I think the concept is great, but I honestly wouldn't use these unless they were as detailed as wohnson89's longshot drawing.

I've had some complaints that they are too pixely. What do you guys think of this:

hey just to let you all know my template will work better if you print them off then color them, otherwise the colors just come out as black and white and gray. I will fix the problem when i get a chance.

The file is set to grayscale. Try using this one instead.

I took a screenshot of the original template and rotated it so it's now straight and works with every color.
