Ok, I have bought 4 supermaxx guns, and they are all in the dumpster now except for the 750.

First, I got a 5000 because it looked awesome. When I finally got one, I opened it up only to find that there was a leak in the release pin, which I could not fix.

Then, I got an old 1500. I modified it, but only a week later the air tank literally split in half because it was so weak. I tried some plumbers goop, but it did not help.

Next, I got a new 3000 (yellow and blue) and the pump snapped off within the first 20 shots.

Finally, I got an old 750. Right out of the box, it had a leak. I couldn't believe it! I was seriously thinking about throwing it out my window. The leak is right below the air tank, so I might be able to fix it. Plumber's goop did not help, though. Do you guys think that if I melted it so there was not a hole, it would work?

Is it just my horribly bad luck, or are supermaxx guns really this unreliable?

It may be just me, but I really hate air guns 'cause of their unreliability. They are much harder to maintain than cocking guns, and I always have problems like yours with mine. I pretty much use only cocking guns.

Yea, my sm5k got a leak which i couldnt fix(hopefully bw finds some uses and fixes it), also my 3k tank got a leak after 2 shots out of the box.

It's your bad luck. You probably over pumped your SM1.5K, but other than that, that sucks balls.

No, there's no way that I overpumped it because I stuck to 3 pumps and hid it from my little bro.
