The Event: Winter SENO. The premier Southeastern foamfest, sans bugs and blistering heat. It will be this Effeminate:
Posted Image
The Date: February 27th. This seems to work best for the most people.
The Hosts: Zaxbys and myself. This war will be run with a bit stricter rule set than has been the case in many Southern wars.
The Location:

Langford Middle School
3019 Walton Way
Augusta, GA 30909-3470

We had a great time at the first winter SENO, so we're doing another one to fill the void between it and my April NC war.

The Rules: Wear eye protection. Don't be a douche. Take your hits, bring enough darts, pick up your darts, and bring actual guns. If you don't have appropriate weaponry, say so. I for one always have more guns than I use, and one of us will gladly hook you up with something. But trying to run a primaries round when your teammates are carrying weak weaponry is lame.

Make sure to bring some sort of real (NF) springer pistol. The only airgun allowed in pistol rounds, at all, is the SSPB. We WILL be doing pistol rounds, and probably quite a few of them. There's really not an excuse to show up with no pistol, and if you do, you'll be sitting out some fun, fun rounds.

Slug darts and single BB darts only. At the last war, I saw a BBB successfully go up against BBBBs and such. I also came home without a single welt. Light darts are our friends.

The Ban List: Melee weapons, plugged singled BBBBs (this includes pump replacements that do not use a full-diameter ball pump), plugged titans, and any hopper clips holding more than 4 rounds, because hopper clips are lame. Any homemade airguns will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis--not that I expect anyone to bring one. Also, if you bring a modded RFSG, bring a backup. I will not be allowing more than one RFSG on any one team. And if you bring anything crazy, like a JOBAR or a converted water gun, I expect it to be used politely. Also, I reserve the right to remove any gun that I deem dangerous from play.

DOUCHEBAGGERY: When we're playing in the portables, anyone who gets on the roof will be sitting out the rest of the round. And stay out from under the damn things, while you're at it. Shots that travel under a portable must be taken by a player whose body is outside the perimeter of the building. If anyone is causing a problem, regardless of what team they're on, come to me or Zax and we'll sort it out.

Games: Copious amounts of 3:15 deathmatch, with a side of gunslinger/FFA, and a round of Defend the Core. I do not plan on doing a zombie round, unless I need a few minutes in which to take a siesta. No long stops between rounds, and if a round goes on too long, the remaining parties will be confined to a smaller area to shoot it out. I have no intention of watching one dude chase another dude for a half-hour.

Picking Teams: stay tuned, but I doubt I'll be using the standard "2 captains fight over the big guys, then divide the dregs" format.

Attendance: I'm not even bothering with a "maybe" list this time around.

I'm a very slight maybe. I would love to come, but I might not be prepared by then. I would also love to come to that NC war in April.

No poptart, chicken biscuit cannot provide a ride.

My dad's not exactly up to driving there again next month. I'm a maybe for now.

That's pretty much the same thing as me. Dad might not want to "devote his whole Saturday" again.

Seriously though, no 3/0 darts? Those are about half as heavy as 1/4 splitshot.

Edit no.3 : Ok, if its the 13th I have a good chance of going, and thats a weekend so it would probably be better for us all, having no school and all.

Bye the way, is this going to have a TDM? If so how will the teams be sorted, and how big will a team be.

Are you trying to say team deathmatch? Regardless, team size will depend on attendance, boy genius.

Anyway: I am leaning toward the 13th, because I want to nerf. LoS: sound off. I'm officially prioritizing your attendance, if you can make it. Also, I am going to be introducing Team Powerball either in April or at this war. If enough of you guys want to try it this time around, let me know, and I'll start buying the stuff. If not, we will be doing a ton of deathmatch, a round of gunslinger, and a game of Defend the Core. Either way, it'll be a blast.

Ask, and ye shall receive. There will be some goalie-adjustment, but that's essentially it.

Yes, I was "Trying" to say Team Death Match, And what is PowerBall any-who? I have never heard of it until this moment in which I read your post and see the word and wonder what it means and click reply and here we are now.

Damn, called us out haha. I'm a no-go for the 13th. I have a much better chance for the latter two dates.

I'll get with the others and see what up because I definitely want at least one of us to be there.

The 13th is out, then. I'm gonna get you slackers on the field if it kills me ;)

I honestly don't think we'll have enough attendance to worry about doing TPB, but Defend the Core is so happening. Plan your setups accordingly...

Both those dates work for me, although my attendance will be decided on the 12th (grades).

My dad is unsure whether he will want to attend or not. Persuade him!

xtoss: If I can't ride with my dad, I'd like to take you up on that offer. Thanks.

Winter Seno: The Squeakquel

:/

Well I know I've been off the Augusta scene for awhile so it's about time I head up there.

It seems like yesterday it was just the LoS with a few modified waterguns.
*tear*

For right now I'm a maybe, but I'm really going to try to make this, chaps.
EDIT: Oh I didn't see you weren't doing maybes....just put a fancy question mark next to my name like tam's.

You need something to shoot darts into a coffee can. You also need to learn to search. DtC has been discussed extensively multiple times.

Oh, and Chicken, your dad is of course more than welcome. Tell him that if he comes I'll try to set him up with something cool for the day, gunwise.

Well, technically, all my guns can shoot darts into a coffee cup. But skill wise I couldn't shoot it that accurately. And what would I be searching for?

I thought you meant physicly searching the war zone, sorry about the double post.
