Castle park is right next to a community center and if there are any other kids on the park at all (sometimes even if there isn't) we get kicked out. That happened a lot at the early LANOs.

Yes.
There! Now, I just need to let my fingers heal from his fucking saw "attack*."
*Cutting something for the mini-combustion cannon, I was holding it, saw sliced two of my fingers fairly deep.

Nobody has given me any decent suggestions yet. At this point it's still the Alamo and the CTF grassy area at Venado. I await your wonderful ideas.

At least we came up with the Alamo CTF. And that little play structure was neat, just the wood chips were totally uncool. They hurt.

table for 4 please.
let's just have the war at venado...i mean, it's been a while since you were yelled at, and there's other places to play than the urban area, everyone is familiar with it, it sounded like bonelli didn't rox0r, and i'd prefer not to drive to toj's house.

anyway, can we start making things official? like 9-5 venado 18th? is there any resentment against just going to venado? i wasn't there when you guys got yelled at, but i don't think people do jumps off the grass hills in their trucks, and it sounded like a load of shit the guy was giving you. hey do i still get free PETG if i bring a girl? not that i need any, but does that rule still apply? 1 more thing before i'm done bugging you all, can we try to have everyone bring a pistol or two so we can have a pistol war? i'm just dying for a pistol war. oh, and if there's a movie, i've already decided my nomination for the soundtrack: boys in the hood by dynamite hack (sp*) so funny, such a perfect fit.
sorry about the double post, but i figure if i annoy you all enough, we'll get a date down, we'll start modding our guns and making stefans, we'll start thinking about it so we can have a decent sized war. even though i am the last person who should be trying to inspire people to organize, heh.

My son has invited me to a fair/picnic on April 18th.
Zero is going to be in town Saturday, May 15th.
I guess I could still be convinced to go to an April 18th war but after the turnout at the last two it's pretty unlikely. If I put in the effort and time to get ready for another war and nobody shows up, it would be my last.
Regardless of what you guys decide to do on 4/15, who's down for 5/18 to war when Zero's here?

don't you mean 4/18, and 5/15?Regardless of what you guys decide to do on 4/15, who's down for 5/18 to war when Zero's here?
hmm...i can't think of anything i'm doing may 15th. track will be over (i think), AP tests will be over, and there isn't a fencing tournament scheduled. so i'll say for now i could make it either day that weekend of the 15th.
as for the 18th - i want to have a war, i don't mind driving to irvine if that helps anyone. if kevin can't make it, i'll just buy flagging tape and run it. spoon said he'd be there, he can be in charge if he wants. anyway, i want to see how many people would be able to make it to irvine on April 18th before i totally commit to saying i'll be in charge if kevin wants to opt out. i'd rather be personally dissappointed at how many people show than have keivn organize it, no one show, and him quit forever.

If anyone wants to have a quick skirmish this Sunday though, Jon and I can go. But I don't think many of you would want to go to this "quick skirmish" because it interferes with schedules.

There's about five and a half miles around my house we could use, including a small mountain (somewhere between 600 and 800 feet tall, about 200 X 200 across), large streams with a marsh, a pond, and many groves...so that could set up for many crazy wars, though most darts would be lost. Our garage has also turned into a workshop, so we could fix up or mod any guns that people need. Hey you never know...right?
Locations, locations, locations? Theres one for you
Bitch, bitch, bitch? Send me the money and I'll buy a female dog and ship it through UPS, or FedEx of course.
We could also supply food, if everyone brings four or five bucks, we could have a barbeque. Hope you guys have fun at the war.
*edit*
Ray- I will be expecting to see your pink glasses, that you WILL find and repair, in some of the photos of the war.

Any buildings on the property other than your house or is it mostly wilderness?

My house is pretty much down by Oceanside, the specifics of where I live would be on the border of Bonasall, Oceanside, and Fallbrook, and currently about 750-ish feet from Camp Penelton, or how every you spell that place's name.Hmm... where's your house?

In the area I am considering, there is only one other house, which is my neighboors, but his house would be about 300-400 feet away from where the war would be held, and since I help him do yard work sometimes, he would allow us have a minor intrusion.
I can get pictures up soon, because Thursday night is the biggining of our spring break down here (though I have a band comp from after school until about 9:45). So I'll either send them to cxwq@nerfhaven.net (or .com?), or get off my lazy ass and learn how to post pictures.
Speaking of warring at my house, Ray, don't you and your team basically come from the opposite direction that we do for the Yanos? If so, I think I understand why you would not want to drive down here, a four hour drive would suck.
