Rules:
~Eye protection is a must, unless you are over eighteen years of age.
~NO HOMEMADE AIR GUNS! NO EXCEPTIONS!
~Don't be a douchebag. If the strength of the weapon is considered to be excessive we reserve the right to "spot ban" it.
~No singled ,plugged Titans or plugged BBBB. Titans are allowed if they have more than 3 barrels(shotgunned)
~No tack darts (A.K.A-deathdarts)**
~No darts heavier than a nerf ball.Stefans must have a rubber, glue, cloth, or foam cover.
~All darts and guns will be inspected thoroughly, no jutting out spikes on guns---use your head guys, and remember that these are toys--lets keep it that way!
~The only shields that will be permitted are Manta Rays.
~Barrel Tapping is allowed however, your gun MUST be locked and loaded to tap--A tap from 5 feet away is nicer than being shot, wink...wink.
~Do NOT bring anything painted all black. We REALLY don't want the cops called for someones stupidity!

Rules for sword blocking:
~Sword blocking is only allowed in 3:15 and assault type matches. Zombies cannot sword bock.
~No sword blocking in pistol type matches.
~The sword must be in hand at time of block. If sword is shot while in it's sheath than it is a hit.

Location notes: There is a Panera/Chipotle at High Street/E Dominion Blvd for food. Also, there is a Jersey Mikes a few blocks south on High St. and a Bob Evan's/Taco Bell/Qdoba Grill/SUBWAY about 2-4 minutes away to the north of High Street.

NOTE: It will probably be cold make sure you wear appropriate clothing.

May I question this rule? When it's that cold out, ANY gun is going to hurt at point blank and bare skin. I think we should just do a majority vote, if after a few rounds it is seriously altering the field of play. At least, that's how it has always been done at these wars.

Oh yeah, I'd like to mention a problem I had with something at the last war. I got back about 10-15 darts of mine that were torn in half (so like 20-30 chunks).[rant] I understand that people don't want to fire off darts where the weights came out to avoid accuracy problems, but ripping them doesn't solve the problem. If you (whoever was doing this) want to rip your own darts, go for it... but don't destroy my property. When I find a broken dart I put it in a different pocket than my normal darts and dump them at the end of the round near the ammo dump pile. If you could do this, it would cut down on pissing me off. Plus, throwing the two halves back on the ground is technically littering and it's twice the effort to dart sweep (1 dart becoming 2). It's not like my darts were made poorly, it was just the cold weather making my hot glue break on impact and letting the weight fall out. [/rant]

Everyone whould bring plenty of darts since, word on the street says, "Shit shatters in the cold when hitting trees and metal". And yes, my method of dart making does make them liable to break or shatter.

EDIT: Let's have a policy on broken darts. I find this to be acceptable:

I will bring 2 containers: One for complete darts, one for broken darts or blanks. Pick them all out and sort them.

Change me to a maybe. It really depends on how cold it is that day. I'd like to go and I look forward to an opportunity to use my BBB (Thanks Coop; best $6 I ever spent), but if it's like, 25 degrees out and not snowing, then fuck being outside all day.

EDIT: I have one friend who would like to go, potentially 2. One of them is new to this, but he's a cool guy, has real interest, and he understands the rules. Also, my friend Nathan from the last few wars might go; he'll tell me closer to the date if he can.

Also, I know it's premature, but knowing how central Ohio nerf goes, we'll probably have another war very soon after this. I'd like to look at locations outside of Clintonville for that one. I know we have one place in Upper Arlington, but does anyone know of other places? There's nothing wrong with Colerain, but I'd like to go someplace else. I'm going to be looking for locations, and I would like it others could think about this as well.

DERP: Also, I was thinking that we should start at 10 (arrive at 9:30) so that we can get some slightly warmer nerfing in. I doubt this would be much of a problem for people if they are local, but cinci/Lakewooders might want to chime in on this.

Sword blocking is allowed in 3:15 but not in zombies.

You should really read the first page cause those are times i have down for the start.

I think anything that is on you should count as a hit. Excluding the agreed shields and now swords. If not, I'm making one big ass holster to wrap around myself
