Currently live in Delaware too. I'd be in if there could be a close enough war.

Where would close enough be? This could be possible to pull off.

Okay, lets get our shit together. It's gonna have to be in the Wilmington/Newark area I would think. If you guys are down around Felton, well...fuck that.

Just talked to the rents and I'm out. Think it's retarded. Story of my life.

Unless it's in the very close area, I'm a no show, but if you need some area ideas, feel free to talk to me. A few pop to mind.

Glasgow Park being a good one.

I'd be pretty game for a Delaware war. Anywhere near Newark/Wilmington/New Castle area?

I'll be there for January, so let me know what's going on. I'd prefer the newark area.

I've not been to Glasgow Park. I'll swing by next time I'm down there and check it out.

The problem in Delaware is that it's all open fields and think woods. There's a bunch of great places to play, but the logistics on all of them are awful. The place I always wanted to play growing up was Brandywine Springs. There used to be a theme park or something like that there and so the entire woods are just filled with these great ruins. There was even a huge man made pond. The main paths are long and wind around each other. There's also a creek that's pretty easy to cross running right down the center of it and a couple of bridges connecting both sides. It would be an awesome place, the problem is that there can be alot of hikers and stuff back there and as much as it would be fun, I'd be pretty nervous to play there. If maybe 3 other people want to meet up there just to try it out and see how well it would work, I'd be really down for it.

Here's a picture I stole from the internet.

Even though it is wooded, the paths are very wide and open. Let me know what you guys think.

I probrably would be in if its on the right date.

Talio is right about the playing field thing, but Delaware has got many schools. My principal from Cedar lane elementry said it would be ok to host a war there last year but I never got around to it. it would cost a large sum of money but $5 or up addmission is not bad. Post to help this maybe war be a definit war.

BTW the school is in Middletown.

I think I know where Talio is talking about. From what I can remember it is a pretty neat place.

A bit unrelated, but does anyone know a good place to get brass from here in DE?

There's a train hobby shop in the Newark Shopping center. They have it. Or there is a true value behind Prices Corner next to the Acme. They have it as well. There was another place on Concord pike but it's gone. There's a new hobby shop in the first state plaza. I would check there as well.
