Okay, if anything is unclear please clarify and tell me in a response to this thread. I apologize for the poor pictures.

Materials:
NOTE: Not pictured but necessary are Goop, Super Glue, and Paper towels.

If unsure, that is needle nose pliers, scissors, a pen, Etape, a saw, and the vinyl tubing.

Start with the pen.

Pull it open. Should look like this.

The following video demonstrates how to pull a very important part out of the pen, and I cannot describe it in words. This is bad quality

When you're done, you'll end up with this:

Cut the pen body.

Click here for another poor video.

Wrap your tubing once and once only with Etape. Repeat on the other tubing you want to connect.
Posted Image

Stick the red piece from earlier in one section of tubing. If you skimmed the writeup, we got it out of the pen in the first video.
Posted Image

THE FOLLOWING PARTS OF THE WRITEUP CAN BE DONE IN ANY ORDER. JUST BE LOGICAL.
Put super glue and goop on the Etape on the tubing. No picture, but it shouldn't really be needed.

Slip the cut up pen body over the tubing.
Posted Image

Slide the other tubing in.

Wait for everything to dry, maybe put more Etape around it.

Good to go. I tested it with my Magstrike and no leaks as of yet. Hopefully I can use the same concept for a tubing tee...

Or you can just use some bigger tubing and slip the smaller ones in... I'd imagine that that way would also hold better pressure.

Edit: Goop holds pressure just fine, I have done this. Also, I used hornet and 2k tubing so no need to buy more tubing.

I knew someone would ask that.

In my experience, unless left to sit for way too long, and even then maybe not, Goop alone can't hold the pressure, and SuperGlue can't hold on Vinyl tubing. This solves all that.

It also saves you from buying a whole 'nother roll of tubing used only for the purpose of connecting....

Superglue works fine on vinyl tubing. PVC cement will solvent-weld vinyl tubing. Tubing is also cheaper on a per-segment basis than pens probably, given that I find it around .08/ft while pens are ~$10 for a pack of 20 or so.

I just use 5/32" aluminum tubing. It's 69 cents per foot and very light weight.

Cool. I've actually done something like this before with a couple guns, and they work great.

Yeah I've done something similar using old marker tubes from thin markers I found laying around, they were the perfect diameter and goop holds perfectly fine.

Man I was thinking about applications for pen bodies... I did miter one a while ago with an auger bit and make a "t"...

I'll see if I can reproduce that tomorrow.

Doing this as I speak. I have no idea when I got it...my DAD got it some 15 years ago, but that doesn't matter. Anyways, it keeps jerking around all over the place. I try to hold it with a rag...It doesn't look like...much.
