simplest mod Ive ever done.... took longer to take the blaster apart and wait for the gluegun to warm up than it took to have the blaster done and test firing.

Looks awesome.

Is it at all awkward to pump?

Shit, I like this a lot. Someone should really make a rig using BS tanks though, could probably just make some polycarb brackets to attach to the smdtb's shell. Great work.

yeah I'm that guy who made that cool thing with the cool paint.

NO, Its a fucking SMDTB with a handle on it.

NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!
the point is that its simple and easy to replicate. it does not need polycarb brackets, Its not a marvelous salvo. its a quick easy mod to an otherwise nearly useless blaster.

THis thing screams for non stock barrel material. PETG that bitch and maybe it'll be war worthy.
Other wise nice work.

I used to have that problem until I got circumcised. 15 pounds later I was able to stand up straight.

definitely , it will need barrels.... but like I said, I built this thing in like 12 minutes.
and with a simple AR removal its a great hvz sidearm.

I'm sorry I have never owned a smdtg and do not know how it would fire. Is the smdtg a over pressure tank or is it a tank with a pin. Please don't bag on me because i'm a noob

I swear, everything you come up with should already have been done, but it hasn't been for some reason. Does the trigger take some getting used to? I feel like I'd have trouble firing one barrel at a time.

the stepped trigger works better than I expected... but I have accidentally fired it many times while pumping.

but its a good start for sure.

Ergonomically, where, in your opinion, would be the best place to tack on a replacement pump? I realize this would add a lot to the size of the blaster, but damn I hate pumping those things.

In theory a pump should be able to be stuffed into the shell backwards, in the stock location or close to.

I really like it. And you didn't have to do any modifications to the handle to allow a longer trigger pull? My LSFG handle needed various things done to it to be able to trigger all the tanks in a MS.

It worked for about a day and then quit firing the last barrel. I ended up modding the trigger slightly for more trigger stroke. I plugged the OPV, removed the ARs and plugged the leak holes in the barrels while it was apart.

Great job badwrench. The only problem I can think of is that a smdtb can't get the same ranges as a splitfire, but other than that it's great.

I'm all for the simplicity of this mod, but I don't see the harm in suggesting someone to build an even more amazing blaster from your original plans.

Depends on your definition of amazing. BadWrench has something that's easy/cheap, cool, and useable. Your idea might shoot farther, but would cost more and take longer.
